This text uses "holiday experience sharing" as the context carrier. Focusing on the pronunciation rules of letter combinations ( e/ee/ea/i/ly ) in words, through WeChat Moments conversations, listening materials, and role - playing activities.
学情分析
Students have mastered the basic usage of the past tense and simple daily communication phrases in primary school, but have difficulty describing vacation experiences coherently, using indeterminate pronouns and emotional adjectives.
教学目标
Accurately identify the pronunciation rules corresponding to the letter combinations e/ee/ea/i/ly in words.
Accurately spell new words such as peace and trip based on the summarized pronunciation rules.
Design "voice circle of friends" content around the holiday topic.

重点: Students need to accurately identify the pronunciation rules of the letter combinations e/ee/ea/i/ly in words.
难点: Master the pronunciation and intonation of core sentence patterns.

Step 1 Lead in 1. Greet the students.
2. Present Yaming’s and Emma’s moments to the Ss and lead them to review their holidays. Review the holidays prior of Yaming and Emma. Activate prior knowledge.
Spark ss’ interest.
Step 2 Pronunciation 1. Present Ss some words that contain the related phonemes and ask them to summarize.
2. Ask ss to listen and repeat after the tape. Find and classify the words that contain the phonemes.
Listen to the audio and imitate it. To help ss discover the rules.
Improve ss’ spelling ability.
Step 3 Pre - listening Present Ss Peter’s WeChat Moments and encourage them to observe what information they can get from the moments. Look at Peter’s moments and find out the information about holiday. To improve ss’ listening.
Step 4 While - listening 1. Ask students to analyse the sentences and predict the right answers.
2. Ask students to finish the task in 2a.
3. Encourage ss to read the conversation and complete the table in 2b, then lead ss to think why Adam still thought his holiday was fun even he just stayed at home.
4. Listen to the conversation again, pay attention to the intonation and role - play the conversation. Predict the information and try to guess and finish the task.
Listen to the scripts and role - play it. To strengthen the mastery of key sentence patterns and vocabulary.
Step 5 Post - listening 1. Ask ss to find out how to talk about holidays.
2. Lead Ss to discuss which way they want to spend their holidays.
3. Inspire Ss to think about words or phrases that can describe holiday experiences.
4. Encourage ss to work in pairs and share their summary holiday experiences.
5. Check their performance according to the checklist. 1. Summarize the key elements of the holiday.
2. Think about how to spend holiday using the adjectives.
3. Group presents the dialogue and share the holidays. Cultivate ss’ emotional values and deeply understand the importance of holiday.
Step 6 Summary Summarize the key content in this lesson. - -
Step 7 Language points Explain language points and assign the test. Take notes and finish the exercises. Consolidate the implementation of the content learnt in this lesson.

教学反思 通过本节课的教学，学生基本掌握了词汇和句型，能听懂并进行关于假期活动的对话并学会对对话内容进行信息归纳。但是，在教学过程中也存在一些问题，如部分学生在对话练习中不够积极主动，需要教师进一步引导和鼓励。在之后的教学中，我将不断改进教学方法，提高教学质量。
