2. Can I stay out until eleven
(1) prep. 到….时候；直到…为止；相当于till，其后常跟时间点。
— 在肯定句中，谓语动词常为延续性动词，表示该动作一直持续到until所表示的时间为止；
— 在否定句中，句中谓语动词为非延续性动词，指until所表示的时间到了，该动作才发生。”not…until..” “直到…才…”
— They will stay here until next Monday.
— They doctor didn’t show up until 10:00 p.m..
(2) conj. 到….时候；直到…为止；后接时间状语从句；
He stayed here until he finished his work.
