1. exchange

frightening adj. 令人害怕的

be frightened of (doing) sth.害怕(做)某事

I'm frightened for him (= that he will be hurt, etc.) .

12. senior
adj. high in rank or status; higher in rank or status than others 级别（或地位）高的
n. a person who is older than sb else 较年长的人；大四学生
senior high school students 高中生
I have ten years' experience at senior management level.

junior adj. 地位（或职位、级别）低下的
n. 职位较低者; （体育运动中）青少年

13. impression
n. an idea, a feeling or an opinion that you get about sb/sth, or that sb/sth gives you 印象；感想
impress v. 使钦佩，使留下深刻印象；使意识到
impressed adj. 印象深刻的；了不起的
impressive adj. 给人印象深刻的，令人钦佩的
be impressed by/with 对…印象深刻
make an（adj.) impression on sb.

14. concentrate
vi.& vt. to give all your attention to sth and not think about anything else 集中（注意力）；聚集会神
concentration n.专心，专注；

15. experiment
