My best friend
My best friend is Shirley. l first met her two years ago when we worked together on a school art project.
Shirley is taller but lighter than me. She is a lovely girl. She has the brightest smile I’ve ever seen. lt makes her look pretty.
Shirley is helpful and patient. When I have difficulty with my schoolwork, she is patient enough to explain the problem to me until I fully understand it.
Shirley is also creative. In our school projects, she always comes up with new and interesting ideas. Every time I run out of ideas, I will go to her, and she often helps me look at things from different angles.
What makes Shirley truly special is that she cares a lot about me. When I am down, she is always the first to notice and cheer me up. She listens to me and understands me well.
I’m so lucky to have Shirley as my best friend. l hope our friendship lasts forever!
