My cousin Andrew is crazy about DIY. He loves to make or repair things around his house by himself. However, he is not a born handyman!
Once, he tried to put in a brighter light in his bedroom, but he made a mistake, and his whole house had a power cut.Another time, he wanted to put up a picture on the wall, but he hit a water pipe and filled the room with water.

Last Saturday, I went to Millie's home, and we made two cute little dolls from old gloves.
We chose a pair of clean gloves with bright colours and fun patterns and each made a doll. Here are the steps:
First, we made the doll's legs from the two longest fingers.
Next, we made the doll's arms from two of the other fingers.
Then, we made the head and the body from the main part of the glove. For the eyes, we glued two buttons onto the glove.
Finally, we added some pieces of colourful thread onto the head—that's the doll's hair.
The dolls looked really cute. We took some pictures when we finished. We felt very proud and happy!
