形容词和副词的最高级概述
形容词和副词的最高级用于三者或三者以上的人或物的比较，表示“最……”。
形容词和副词的最高级的构成
规则变化
单音节词和部分双音节词：
①一般在词尾加-est：small → smallest
②以e结尾的词加-st：nice → nicest
③以"辅音+y"结尾的词，变y为i再加 -est：busy → busiest
④重读闭音节且末尾只有一个辅音字母，双写该辅音字母再加-est：fat → fattest
多音节词和部分双音节词：
在原级前加most：expensive → most expensive
不规则变化
good/well → best
bad/badly/ill → worst
many/much → most
little → least
far → farthest/furthest
old → oldest/eldest
口诀
最高级很容易，原级后面加-est。
规则同于比较级，注意一点便可以。
部分双音、多音节，最高级前要加most。
若是副词最高级，用不用the皆可以。
常见句式及用法
one of the + 形容词最高级 + 复数名词：表示“最……的……之一”
例句：The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous landmarks in France.
Who/Which..., A, B, or C
例句：Which do you prefer, pizza, burgers, or sandwiches
形容词和副词最高级常与介词in、of、among的短语等来说明比较的范围
例句：She is the tallest girl in her class. = She is the tallest of all the girls in her class.
注意：
形容词最高级前通常加定冠词the，副词最高级前可省略。
形容词最高级前有序数词时，前加the；若前面有物主代词、指示代词或名词所有格时不用the。
特殊句式（形容词和副词最高级的意义也可用含比较级结构来表示）
形容词/副词比较级 + than any other + 单数名词
例句：He is taller than any other boy in his school.
形容词/副词比较级 + than the other + 复数名词
例句：This book is more interesting than the other books on the shelf.
