教材分析 What:本节课的内容是A部分和B部分的let’s learn，通过Oliver，Zhang Peng在校园展板前谈论各种职业图片，呈现并学习如何询问他人职业并对此进行简单评价的额句型。Why: 作者通过描述Oliver，Zhang Peng在校园展板前谈论各种职业，引导学生体会各种职业的意义，进而根据爱好与能力构思自己的职业蓝图。How:该对话是比较典型的学生日常对话，涉及职业的核心词汇: factory, worker, postman, businessman, police officer, fisherman, scientist, pilot, coach.以及谈论职业、场所的语言: What does he/she do Is he/she a postman Where does he/she work .该对话情节简单，具有现实意义和教育意义。
学情分析 能力基础：经过三年的英语学习，学生具了一定的听、说、读、写能力，能读懂语言简单、主题相关的简短语篇，获取具体信息，理解主要内容，能运用所学语言与他人进行简单的交流。 知识基础：学生在三年级下册第四单元中学过句型：Where is...？It's in/on/under...来询问物品的位置，在四年级上册unit4 My home中，学过地点词汇：living room, library，study，garden等，学生已有的知识储备为本节课的学习打下了基础
核心素养目标 1.在看、听、说的活动中，获取、梳理核心词汇: factory, worker, postman, businessman, police officer, fisherman, scientist, pilot, coach.以及谈论职业、场所的语言: What does he/she do Is he/she a postman Where does he/she work 并能用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。（学习理解）2.在教师的帮助下复述课文，能听音，匹配朋友家庭成员，爱好及其工作地点。（应用实践）3.在教师的引导下，选择职业并交流感受。(迁移创新)
