Explain the meaning and usage of each connective with examples. I like English and math. (我喜欢英语和数学。) I like science, but I don’t like history. (我喜欢科学,但我不喜欢历史。) I like PE because it’s fun. (我喜欢体育,因为它很有趣。) 2.Display the incomplete sentences from 3a on the board. Ask students to read the sentences and complete them with the correct connectives. 3.Check answers and discuss the reasons for using each connective. The answers are: We use “because” to give a reason. We use “and” to give another idea.
