J.K.Rowling
Joanne Kathleen Rowling was born in Bristol, England,in 1965. She dreamed
of being a famous writer when she was a little girl.
Before she wrote Harry Potter, she was very poor. She had no job, and a young daughter to take care of. She decided to write the Harry Potter story to make some money. Every day, she sat at a coffee shop writing until the first book was finished. But no one wanted to put out her book.They said girls couldn’t write about magic. Then Rowling changed her name from Joanne Kathleen to J.K., so people wouldn’t know she was a woman.
At last, in 1997, someone agreed to put out the first book and it was a huge success. She then wrote six more Harry Potter books.In just a few years, J.K. Rowling went from a poor young woman to the most-loved and richest writer in the world.

He began to write music when he was five years old. Everyone liked Mozart's music, but he didn’t make a lot of money. He was very poor. He became ill and died when he was only 35 years old.

Dr.Zhong was born in Nanjing, a beautiful southern city.
The hospital he was born in was sitting in the south of the Zhongshan mountains.That’s where his name came from, Nanshan, the south of Zhongshan.
This is the story of Dr. Zhong.

Dr.Zhong wasn’t born in a peaceful time. His house was bombed shortly after he was born. Poor Little Zhong was buried under debris (废墟). Luckily, he was saved by his mother and grandma.

Zhong’s father was an excellent doctor.
One day, Father Zhong brought back some laboratory rats for an experiment.“Laboratory rats More like my pet rats!” thought Little Zhong.
Zhong was interested in the rats. He spent days and nights observing and taking care of the rats. Little Zhong took the job as the rats’ caretaker.

Zhong’s mother was a doctor and a good storyteller. She often told little Zhong stories when she had free time. One of Zhong’s favourite memories was listening to all the interesting hospital stories told by his mother.
All these stories planted a seed inside of Zhong.

In fact, Zhong wasn’t the top of his class. His grades were so bad that he was held back a year. But that never stopped his parents from loving him. With all the support from people around him, Zhong was determined (坚定的) to work harder and harder.
Finally, his hard work got him into his dream school. Zhong was good at studying as well as sports.

Zhong’s dream was to be a doctor like his parents.
He became a pulmonologist (肺科专家), a doctor who specializes in the respiratory system (呼吸系统).
He had helped numerous people through out his career. Yet, at the age of 83, he fought the novel coronavirus (新冠病毒) on the frontline. He was there when people needed him.
