1 获取和梳理中国丹霞地貌和雅丹地貌的基本特征,形成结构化知识,并运用所学语言对其进行描述; 2 听广告音频,获取云南石林、西双版纳雨林、玉龙雪山以及泸沽湖等著名地貌景观的基本信息,对比分析各自独特之处; 3 以谈论自己想要去参观的地貌景观的对话语篇为模板,与同伴就相同话题展开讨论并适当抒发情感; 4 在写作活动中综合运用本单元词汇知识与表达以及语篇结构知识与表达,完成一篇介绍一个美丽或者有趣的中国地貌景观的文章,多角度描写和介绍中国斑斓多彩的地貌景观,表达对自然的热爱和敬畏之情,积极宣传祖国的大好河山。
教学内容
教学重点:引导学生获取和梳理中国主要地貌景观的基本特征,形成结构化知识,并运用所学语言对其进行描述。 教学难点:启发学生在写作活动中综合运用本单元词汇知识与表达以及语篇结构知识与表达,完成一篇介绍一个美丽或者有趣的中国地貌景观的文章,多角度描写和介绍中国斑斓多彩的地貌景观,表达对自然的热爱和敬畏之情,积极宣传祖国的大好河山。
教学过程
Step 1. Viewing and reading 1 Have students read the article and look at the two pictures in Part A on page 76 and answer the question below. What do the two pictures show 2 Have students read the article again and complete the following table with the information about the two interesting landscapes in China. 3 Have students answer the questions in Part A. Step 2. Listening 1 Have students finish Part B on page 76. (1) Have students predict the answers to Part B and write down some possible answers in the blanks. (2) Have students listen to the radio ad and complete the notes. 2 Have students answer the following questions. Are you interested in any of these places in Yunnan Province Which place do you want to visit Why Step 3. Speaking 1 Have students listen to Daniel and Millie’s conversation in Part C on page 77 and finish the table below. 2 Have students listen to the conversation and read along, and then read in different roles. 3 Have students work in pairs and talk about interesting landscapes they want to see. Step 4. Writing 1 Have students answer the following question. If you want to write an article about a beautiful or an interesting landscape in China, what information about the landscape would you mention 2 Have students read the table in Part D1 on page 77 and answer the following questions. (1) What is the landscape Daniel chooses to write about (2) Where is the landscape (3) What is the landscape famous for (4) What can you do there 3 Have students complete the table in Part D1 with the information about the landscapes they choose. 4 Have students read the title of Daniel’s article in Part D2 on page 78 first. 5 Have students read Daniel’s article in Part D2 and match the paragraphs with their content. 6 Have students find useful expressions in the article and come up with more. Then have students finish the chart below. 7 Have students think about what else they can add to the article about a landscape in China. 8 Have students write an article about a beautiful or an interesting landscape in China. They can refer to Part D1 on page 77 and Part D2 and D3 on page 78 for ideas about structure, content and expressions. 9 Have students check their writing after they finish and exchange drafts with their partners for review. Then have students revise their articles. 10 Have students share their articles in class, evaluate which one is the best and learn from each other. Homework Must do: Perfect your writing. Finish the Worksheet. Summarize the whole unit with a mind map. Choose to do: Draw a poster to call on other students to get along well with landscapes.
