2 Maybe I'll be an airplane pilot. That is a cool job because I will help people travel around for work, for fun, or for family reunions. I am looking forward to flying in the sky and experiencing many interesting things. Maybe she’ll be an airplane pilot.（也许她会成为一名飞行员。）
3 There is a problem, though. I have a fear of heights. But that won't stop me from becoming a pilot. I can take steps to overcome my fear and try my best to realise my dream. Her problem.（她的问题。）
4 Or maybe I'll be an engineer and make planes. I like making model planes. I hope to design a new type of plane someday. It will have larger wings, but burn less fuel. Or maybe she’ll be an engineer and make planes.（或者也许她会成为一名工程师，制造飞机。）

“a few 一些”，修饰可数名词。
辨析：few; a few; little; a little
词汇 含义 修饰对象
few 表示否定含义，意为 “几乎没有” 可数名词
a few 表示肯定含义，意为 “几个；一些” 可数名词
little 表示否定含义，意为 “几乎没有” 不可数名词
a little 表示肯定含义，意为 “一些；少量” 不可数名词
例句：
I know a little French.（我懂一点儿法语。）
I have little free time.（我几乎没有空闲时间。）
His mother works a few hours a day.（他妈妈一天工作几个小时。）
There are few eggs in the fridge.（冰箱里几乎没有鸡蛋了。）
3.There is a problem, though.（然而，有一个问题。）
though adv. 可是，然而（用于句末，增加对比或转折信息）
例句：I didn't get the job. I learnt a lot, though.
though conj. 尽管；即使（引导让步状语从句，相当于 although，但 although 更正式）
例句：Though/Although it rained a lot, we enjoyed our holiday.
拓展：even though 表示 “即使，虽然”（相当于 even if，引导让步状语从句；although 不能与 even 连用）
例句：Even though you are sad, try smiling.
4.I have a fear of heights. But that won't stop me from becoming a pilot.（我恐高。但这不会阻止我成为一名飞行员。）
height n. 高；高度；高处（high adj. 高的；adv. 高地）
a fear of heights 恐高
stop sb. from doing sth. = keep sb. from doing sth. = prevent sb. (from) doing sth. 阻止某人做某事
例句：Nothing can stop us from realising our dreams.（没有什么能阻止我们实现梦想。）
5.I can take steps to overcome my fear and try my best to realise my dream.（我可以采取措施克服恐惧，并尽最大努力实现我的梦想。）
take steps to do sth. 采取措施做某事
例句：We are taking steps to prevent pollution.（我们正在采取措施防止污染。）
try one’s best to do sth. = do one’s best to do sth. 尽某人最大努力做某事
realise v.
① 实现（美式书写：realize；主语是人）
realise one’s dream 实现某人的梦想
例句：We must work hard to realise our dream.
② 意识到；理解
例句：Judy suddenly realised that all her friends were helping her, and she was moved.（朱迪突然意识到所有的朋友都在帮助她，她非常感动。）
例句：I didn't realise that my mother was really unhappy at that time.
6.I hope to design a new type of plane someday.（我希望有一天能设计一种新型飞机。）
design v.& n. 设计
design sth. for sth./sb. 为某物 / 某人设计某物
designer n. 设计者；构思者
例句：She designed a new logo for the company.（她为公司设计了一个新的标志。）
someday adv. 总有一天；某天（指将来的 “某一天”，用于将来时，也可写作 some day）
one day 一天；某天（指过去或将来的 “某一天”，可用于过去时和将来时）
