Step1 Lead in 1.Greet the students with “Good morning, class!” and encourage them to respond using the greetings they know. 2.Ask the students to turn to their neighbours and practise saying “Hello” “Hi” and “Good morning” to each other. 激活学生已有问候语知识,营造英语交流氛围,激发课堂参与感。 创设真实互动情境,让学生初步运用新学问候语,破除开口障碍,培养日常交流意识。
Step2 Work on 1a 1.Introduce the new words and sentences: “Hello” “Hi” “Good morning” and demonstrate their pronunciation. 2.Write the new words on the board and have students repeat after you several times. 3.Show pictures of different situations (morning, afternoon, evening) and match them with the appropriate greetings. 4.Display the picture in 1a with names and faces. Step 7 Work on 2d 1.Make up a conversation to greet each other. Demonstrate a sample conversation between two students greeting each other using the greetings from Section A. 2.In pairs, students make up their own conversations using different greetings and names. 3.Select a few pairs to act out their conversations in front of the class.
