Ask , “ What animals can you see in the video/pictures Where do they live ” Introduce the topic of designing a zoo. 通过视频或图片展示不同栖息地的动物,激活学生已有的动物词汇和栖息地认知;以提问引导学生观察与思考,自然衔接 “设计动物园” 的项目主题,借助视觉刺激激发学习兴趣,为后续项目活动铺垫背景知识。Step2 Work on 3a 1. Divide students into groups of four. Each member takes turns to think of an animal ( one from the land , one from the water , one from the sky ). 2. Describe the animal using adjectives and phrases. Other members guess the animal and write it down in the table provided. Example : “It has big ears and eats leaves. It lives on land. Give reasons for your choices considering factors like popularity, educational value ,space requirements, etc. 引导小组结合实际因素(受欢迎度、教育价值等)讨论动物选择并阐述理由,将语言学习与实际决策结合;锻炼学生用英语表达观点、论证选择的能力,培养逻辑思维和批判性思维,深化对 “动物与人类生活关联” 的理解。Step 4 Work on 3c & Reflecting Each group draws a map of their zoo, marking where each chosen animal will be placed.Encourage students to use expressions like “ Next to..." “ Opposite...” “ In the corner of...” Each group presents their zoo design using the map and expressions learnt. 3. The class votes for their favourite zoo based on creativity, clarity of presentation,and reasons given. 4.
