课题名称 Unit1 Animal Friends. Section B Project(3a-3c)& Reflecting
教学目标 学生能够用英语描述不同类型的动物(陆地、水生、空中)。 通过小组讨论,学生能够合作设计动物园并为其挑选动物。 学生能够绘制动物园地图,并运用所学英文表达进行展示,增强语言运用能力和团队合作精神。
教学重难点 重点:关于描述动物的词汇的积累与应用;小组合作完成动物园设计任务。 难点:如何用英语准确、生动地描述动物特征;利用地图有效展示动物园设计并进行口头汇报。
教学过程 教学活动 设计意图
Step1 Lead in 1.Show a short video or pictures of various animals in their natural habitats to activate students’ prior knowledge. 2. Ask , “ What animals can you see in the video/pictures Where do they live ” Introduce the topic of designing a zoo. 通过视频或图片展示不同栖息地的动物，激活学生已有的动物词汇和栖息地认知；以提问引导学生观察与思考，自然衔接 “设计动物园” 的项目主题，借助视觉刺激激发学习兴趣，为后续项目活动铺垫背景知识。
Step2 Work on 3a 1. Divide students into groups of four. Each member takes turns to think of an animal ( one from the land , one from the water , one from the sky ). 2. Describe the animal using adjectives and phrases. Other members guess the animal and write it down in the table provided. Example : “It has big ears and eats leaves. It lives on land. (Answer : Elephant ) 通过分组轮流描述不同栖息地（陆地、水生、空中）的动物并猜测，强化学生对动物特征的描述性词汇（如外形、习性）的运用；明确动物栖息地分类，积累相关表达；在互动中培养倾听、合作与逻辑推理能力，夯实语言输出基础。
Step3 Work on 3b Instructions : Now, discuss within your group which animals from 3a you would choose for your zoo. Give reasons for your choices considering factors like popularity, educational value ,space requirements, etc. 引导小组结合实际因素（受欢迎度、教育价值等）讨论动物选择并阐述理由，将语言学习与实际决策结合；锻炼学生用英语表达观点、论证选择的能力，培养逻辑思维和批判性思维，深化对 “动物与人类生活关联” 的理解。
Step 4 Work on 3c & Reflecting Each group draws a map of their zoo, marking where each chosen animal will be placed.Encourage students to use expressions like “ Next to..." “ Opposite...” “ In the corner of...” Each group presents their zoo design using the map and expressions learnt. 3. The class votes for their favourite zoo based on creativity, clarity of presentation,and reasons given. 4. Guide students to list the names of animals, the reasons why they like them or dish them, Ask them to think of ways to care for animals. 绘制动物园地图并运用方位表达（Next to... 等）标注动物位置，强化空间描述语言的运用；通过展示汇报提升口头表达与团队协作能力；投票环节增强参与感与成就感；反思关爱动物的方式，渗透环保与责任意识，落实 “动物在人类生活中的意义” 的情感目标。
Step 5 Summary and Homework Summarize the key points of this period. Assign homework : Write a passage about their favourite animals and why they like the animal. 梳理本课核心知识与技能，帮助学生构建知识框架；布置描述喜欢的动物的短文作业，将课堂所学（描述词汇、原因表达）延伸至课外，巩固语言运用能力，实现知识的内化与迁移。
