5AU5 Look into the future
一、单元主题
单元主题：“Look into the future”，本主题属于“人与社会”的主题范畴，涉及“科学技术改变生活”。
主题意义： 引导学生思考科技发展对人类生活的影响和意义，积极展望未来，努力创造未来。
二、单元教学目标
本单元学习后，学生能够：
1.用英语描述未来生活；
2.运用核心句型谈论对未来机器人、未来城市等未来生活的猜想；
3.掌握字母y和字母组合igh、ie在单词中的发音；
4.制作有关未来生活的海报，感受科技发展对生活的影响，积极展望未来。
三、分课时教学设计
第四课时（Fuel up）
1.课时教学目标
通过本课时学习，学生能够：
（1）在听、看、读等活动中， 理解韵句大意，感知未来科技发展对饮食的影响；
（2）学习并掌握字母y，字母组合igh和ie在单词中的发音， 尝试列举y、igh和ie发/a /音的其他单词；
（3）在选择主题、判断正误的活动中， 了解、梳理未来食物制作的两种方式；
（4）运用所学语言发表自己对未来食物的看法。

1.在听、看、读等活动中， 理解韵句大意，感知未来科技发展对饮食的影响。 1. Think and say. 学生根据Food of the future展开想象：After one hundred years, what will food be like 2. Listen and think. 学生听录音，思考问题：What will we eat in one hundred years What will the food be like 3. Look and say. 学生根据教师给出的食物图片，说一说：Do you like them 4. Listen again and answer. 学生再听一遍录音，回答问题：What will we eat in one hundred years What will the food be like 5. Listen and chant. 学生听录音，跟读韵句。 教师引导学生对未来食物展开思考。 教师根据学生获取韵句信息的情况，帮助学生进行补充。 教师对学生的语音语调进行指导。
2.学习并掌握字母y，字母组合igh和ie在单词中的发音， 尝试列举y、igh和ie发/a /音的其他单词。 6. Read and write. 学生填空，并朗读韵句。然后，学生阅读韵句，找出韵句中其他含有y、igh和ie，且发/a /的音的单词。 7. Let’s read. 根据发音规律，尝试读一读老师给出的单词。 教师观察学生能否准确认读并找出韵句中其他相关词汇。 针对不能掌握正确发音规律的学生，教师可放慢速度，给予指导和鼓励。
3.在选择主题、判断正误的活动中， 了解、梳理未来食物制作的两种方式。 8. Listen and choose. 学生根据图片和老师对图片的介绍，预测：What’s the talk about 然后听录音，选出主旨大意。 9. Listen again and write “√” or “×”. 学生再听一遍录音，判断正误。对表述错误的句子进行纠正。 教师为学生的表达提供语言支持。教师根据学生获取主旨信息情况进行方法的指导。 教师观察学生判断的情况，对学生有问题的题目进行录音的回放，并进行讲解。
4.运用所学语言发表自己对未来食物的看法。 10. Work in groups. Think and share. 学生小组活动，对未来食物展开想象，借助教师给出的辅助问题讨论并分享观点：What will food be like in the future 教师观察学生能否准确运用所学语言表达自己的观点。对有困难的学生提供帮助。

1.听录音，有节奏地朗读韵句。 2.完成教材第84页补充活动1。 3.和同伴分享你对未来食物的看法。
