5AU5 Look into the future
一、单元主题
单元主题：“Look into the future”，本主题属于“人与社会”的主题范畴，涉及“科学技术改变生活”。
主题意义： 引导学生思考科技发展对人类生活的影响和意义，积极展望未来，努力创造未来。
二、单元教学目标
本单元学习后，学生能够：
1.用英语描述未来生活；
2.运用核心句型谈论对未来机器人、未来城市等未来生活的猜想；
3.掌握字母y和字母组合igh、ie在单词中的发音；
4.制作有关未来生活的海报，感受科技发展对生活的影响，积极展望未来。
三、分课时教学设计
第一课时（Get ready）
1.课时教学目标
通过本课时学习，学生能够：
（1）借助图片，对《小灵通漫游未来》一书有初步了解，获取前人对未来的猜想；
（2）根据图片，对未来生活进行简单描述；
（3）从不同方面对未来生活展开想象和描述。

1.借助图片，对《小灵通漫游未来》一书有初步了解，获取前人对未来的猜想。 1. Let’s think. 学生从单元主题进入学习，理解future的含义。 2. Think and answer. 教师引导学生思考：Do you know the book Xiaolingtong Travels in the Future Who wrote it and what is it about 教师引导学生思考，鼓励学生大胆思考和表达。
2.根据图片，对未来生活进行简单描述。 3. Look and say. 学生观察图片，思考并回答问题：What will the future be like 学习并理解词汇3-D printed、 drive、 pet和space。 4. Let’s read. 学生朗读与图片相关的短语。 5. Let’s match. 学生将短语和相应的图片进行配对。 教师观察学生能否说出图片内容，理解词汇含义。教师可以借助图片帮助学生理解。 教师观察学生能否把短语和相应的图片正确配对，评价学生对短语的理解情况。
3.从不同方面对未来生活展开想象和描述。 6. Look and choose. 学生看图思考：What do you think of the future 并用“I think people will…”进行回答。之后两人一组进行问答。 7. Let’s summarise. 学生在教师引导下总结本课时从哪些方面谈论了未来生活。 教师进行小组巡视，对有需要的学生给予帮助。 教师根据学生的理解情况，帮助学生进行总结。

1.读一读教材第50页和第51页的短语。 2.借助课文图片，说一说你眼中未来的样子。
