一、单元主题
单元主题：“Look into the future”，本主题属于“人与社会”的主题范畴，涉及“科学技术改变生活”。
主题意义： 引导学生思考科技发展对人类生活的影响和意义，积极展望未来，努力创造未来。
二、单元教学目标
本单元学习后，学生能够：
1.用英语描述未来生活；
2.运用核心句型谈论对未来机器人、未来城市等未来生活的猜想；
3.掌握字母y和字母组合igh、ie在单词中的发音；
4.制作有关未来生活的海报，感受科技发展对生活的影响，积极展望未来。

通过本课时学习，学生能够：
（1）在看、听、读等活动中，理解故事大意，梳理机器人能做的事情；
（2）运用一般将来时对不同机器人的功能进行提问和描述；
（3）运用所学语言介绍自己设计的机器人。
