用法总结　nothing but意为“只有;只是”,其后可以跟名词,表示“除了这个名词所指的事物外,没有任何其他东西了”;其后还可跟动词原形,但需与did/do/does搭配。例如:

My pet cat does nothing but sleep all day. 我的宠物猫整天除了睡觉什么也不做。
