Many young people in China are willing to be good helpers to those animals in danger. They set up clubs to care about animals, raise money to buy food for them, spend time talking to them and making friends with them.
I’m not a vet (兽医) yet. But every Saturday, after finishing my homework, I come to the local animal hospital to help the vets there.
I always arrive at the animal hospital early in the morning but there has been a lot of work to do already: looking after weak animals, giving them food and water, and even giving them a kiss on the head.
At first they look at us with frightened (害怕的) eyes. If an animal is too frightened, a vet will hold it and say, “You shouldn’t worry, everything will be fine.” A few animals are sitting on clean tables, waiting for the vet to examine (检查) them. Others are waiting in their rooms.
I’m washing a dog’s hurting leg. I work carefully, because I want to make sure I don’t do anything to hurt him. I want to make them understand that we’re just trying to help them.

①The World Tourism Organization says that space will soon become a popular place to go on holidays—possibly by 2035. It means the dream of space holidays might soon come true.
②One Japanese company is planning a space holiday centre. It will look like a bicycle wheel and have a hotel for 100 people and a big theme (主题) park. It will travel around the earth at a height of 300 km. The company has high hopes that the space holiday centre will be ready by 2030. The chairman of the company says he thinks that flying to the centre will probably be quicker than flying to Singapore from Hong Kong. When they reach the centre, tourists will take trips to the moon or go for walks in space. What about the cost Well, the company believes that people will be happy to pay about $100,000 for a trip, but they think that as more people want to go, the trip will become much cheaper.
③The plan of the Japanese company for the space holiday center is really exciting. At the same time, in space tourism, American companies also have very creative ideas. An American hotel group is also thinking of building a hotel called the Lunar Hotel on the moon. Most of the hotel will be under the ground, so it won’t become too hot or too cold. The rooms will look just like the ones on the earth. The guests will eat universe food for lunch. The cooks will just push a button to mix dried food with water, and then it will become a delicious meal! There will be little or no dirt (灰尘) and there won’t be much water, so people can’t wash faces and hands.
④In conclusion, the space tourism plans from Japan and America are truly amazing. They show a super exciting future for us.

Dear fellow students,
School life is full of joys and challenges. You’ve been in junior school for two years. You love your classmates and teachers. But do you know how to get on with a teacher My suggestions are as follows.
What does getting along with your teacher mean “Getting along” means you and your teacher have a way that works for both of you, and you both are getting what you need from the relationship. For your teacher, he or she wants to make sure you are careful, respectful and polite, and you try your best to learn. For you, you want a teacher who respects you, answers your questions, and tries to help you learn. You can get along well with your teacher like being with your friends.
In every school, you may say some teachers are too strict or serious, but don’t judge (判断) a teacher until you are in his or her class and take a close look at him or her. Most of the time, your teacher is on your side. And a teacher who’s strict may be someone who expects to do his or her job well—teaching you the knowledge you should learn. It is also important to remember that making mistakes is a part of learning. By pointing out your mistakes and helping you correct them, a teacher is teaching you. So don't be afraid to make mistakes. In a word, try to communicate more with your teachers, understand their expectations (期望), and I’m sure you can build a good relationship with them.
Yours,
Tony Brown
