一般过去时的意义
(1)表示过去某个时间或某一段时间内发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用。
e.g. He got up early yesterday.
I visited my grandparents last week.
(2)也可表示过去经常或反复发生的动作,常和 often,always
等表示频度的状语连用。
e.g. He always went to work by bus last year.

1. 肯定句
主语 + was/were + 地点/形容词/名词
I was in Seattle last week. / My parents were very happy.
2. 否定句
主语 + was/were + not + 地点/形容词/名词
He was not at home during the holiday.
3. 一般疑问句
Was/Were + 主语 + 地点/形容词/名词
Was she at the strawberry festival
4. 特殊疑问句
特殊疑问词 + was/were + 主语
Where were your grandparents last summer

yesterday(昨天), the day before yesterday(前天),
three months ago (三天前) ,
last night/week/weekend/year...

anything, something, nothing, everything指代事物,someone, everyone指代人
anything, anyone多用于疑问句中,somthing, someone用于肯定句中
形容词修饰时需后置
常见复合不定代词的构成及其意义 前缀 指代人:-one 或-body 指代事物:-thing
some-: 某个 someone/somebody :某人 something:某物
any-: 任何一个 anyone /anybody 任何一个人 anything :任何事物
no-: 没有 no one/nobody 没有一个人 nothing :没有任何东西
every-: 每一个 everyone /everybody每个人 everything :一切事物
Indefinite pronouns
由some、any、no、every加上-body、-one、-thing构成的不定代词叫作复合不定代词。复合不定代词只相当于名词,在句中用作主语、宾语或表语。
复合不定代词作主语时,都作单数看待,动词需使用单数形式。
e.g. Everyone says Yulong Mountain is beautiful.
Nobody knows what the future will be like.
复合不定代词如果有定语修饰,定语须置于复合不定代词之后。
e.g. Did you do anything fun on your holiday
I have nothing to do.
She offered the job to someone else.
Indefinite pronouns
some-构成的不定代词多用于肯定句,any-构成的不定代词多用于疑问句和否定句中。
如果期望得到肯定答复(Yes)或向对方提出建议邀请时,用some-构成的不定代词。
There's somebody at the door.门口有人。
Did anybody telephone 有人打过电话吗
I don't know anyone in this city.在这个城市我不认识任何人。(not ... anything=nothing)

2. myself
反身代词是一种表示反射或强调的代词。它通过指代句子中的主语,来表示动作回到主语本身,或者强调主语自身。

2. 作同位语:用来强调主语或宾语,可置于所强调词之后或句末。
The president himself gave the speech.
总统亲自发表了演讲。

反身代词常见的固定搭配
1. by oneself :独自;单独;同义表达:alone, on one’s own
e.g. He finished his homework by himself.他独自完成了作业。
2. enjoy oneself :玩得开心;过得愉快
e.g. We enjoyed ourselves at the party last night.昨晚我们在派对上玩得很开心。
3. help oneself to sth. :随便吃 / 喝 / 用某物
e.g.Help yourself to some fruits, please.请随便吃些水果。
4. teach oneself :自学
e.g.He taught himself English when he was young.他年轻时自学英语。
5. introduce oneself :自我介绍
e.g. At the beginning of the class, the new teacher introduced himself to us.课一开始,新老师向我们做了自我介绍。
6. dress oneself :给自己穿衣服
e.g.The little boy is old enough to dress himself.这个小男孩已经足够大,可以自己穿衣服了。
3. nothing / n θ / pron. 没有事;没有任何东西
nothing是复合不定代词,作主语时,谓语动词用单数,
修饰它们的形容词要后置。
搭配:have nothing to do with 与...没有关系
nothing but 只有,只是,其后可接名词、代词或动词原形。
e.g. There's nothing fun to do around here.
这附近没什么好玩的。
Watching TV often gives nothing but an entertaining story.
除了娱乐故事,我们不能够从电视中得到任何信息。
Luck has nothing to do with success. 运气与成功无关。
I could do nothing but wait. 我除了等待别无他法。
4. bored /b d/ adj. 厌倦的;烦闷的
常用来描述人的感受,因对某事不感兴趣
或无事可做而感到乏味。
搭配:
be bored with sth. 对某事感到厌烦
e.g. I'm bored with this movie. 我对这部电影感到厌烦。
拓展:boring意为 “没趣的;令人厌烦的”,主要用来描述事物本身具有让人感到无聊的特质。
e.g. This book is so boring that I can't finish it.这本书太无聊了,我读不完。
