Lesson 7 Reading for Writing
I. Material analysis
内容解读:
本部分为以读促写活动,培养学生的书面表达能力。第一步,学生通过分享自己热爱的艺术形式及其原因,获取更多灵感。第二步,学生通过阅读范文,运用细节分类图表梳理获取范文的话题知识、篇章结构、关键词汇等,并完成细节分类图表。第三步,学生结合自身实际情况,完成自己的细节分类图表,并根据教材中提供的相关表达,模仿范文起草作文,完成介绍个人最喜爱的艺术形式及其原因的作文初稿。第四步,学生根据评价量表进行自评和同伴互评。学生对照评价内容检查初稿,修改后定稿。本部分共有4个活动。
II. Teaching aims
通过本课的学习,学生能够:
通过问题引导和讨论,获得更多写作内容;
阅读范文,运用细节分类图表提取、分类与整合文本内容的主次和结构;
绘制细节分类图,列出自己最喜爱的艺术形式及其原因,谋篇布局,完成写作任务;
通过自评和互评,学会反思,改进文章的结构、内容和语言。
III. Teaching procedures
课时教学内容概述
本课时为以读促写活动,培养学生的书面表达能力。写作内容为介绍自己喜爱的艺术形式及原因。Activity 1为读前交流讨论活动。学生通过问题引导,进行两两讨论,获取更多与主题相关的信息。Activity 2为学习范文并制作思维导图的活动。首先,学生通过阅读范文,获取范文所提供的话题知识、篇章结构等。其次,学生借助图表,分类和归纳玲玲爱上京剧的原因,应用本单元的思维技能。Activity 3 为话题词句归纳和撰写初稿。首先,学生根据自己的审美情趣,选择自己最喜爱的艺术形式,运用本单元所学思维技能,绘制细节分类图表,深入思考写作内容,为仿写做准备。其次,学生基于绘制的细节分类图表和Activity 3提供的关键词汇和句型句式,完成写作任务初稿。Activity 4 为评价和定稿。一方面,学生依据评价量表对初稿进行自评与同伴互评;另一方面,学生根据评价内容对照范文检查初稿,修改后定稿。

教学步骤 学习活动 效果评价
Step 1 Lead-in Work in pairs. Talk about the questions in Activity 1: What traditional Chinese arts forms do you know Which one do you like best Why is it your favorite art Some students share the ideas with the class. Understand the writing tip: Discuss the topic with others before getting more ideas about writing. 根据学生针对中国传统艺术的讨论和分享情况,判断学生对中国传统艺术的了解程度和语言表达相关知识的储备情况,判断学生是否能通过写前策略激发更多的写作灵感。
设计意图:基于活动1的问题,进行两两合作讨论,引导学生谈论和分享自己喜爱的中国传统艺术,围绕写作主题激发学生灵感,激活学生已知和相关语言知识,提高写作教学的针对性和有效性。
Step 2 Reading Read the title “Falling in Love with Beijing Opera” and predict the main idea of the model essay. Read the model essay and complete the detail-classification chart in Activity 2. Check the answers. 根据学生对细节分类图表的完成情况,了解其对写作要点的理解程度。
设计意图:引导学生通过阅读范文,运用本单元所学思维技能,结合讨论结果,梳理范文要点,为书面表达做好准备。
Step 3 Writing Based on the results of discussion, create your own detail-classification chart about the reasons for your favorite art. Understand the given useful expressions in Activity 3 . Based on the detail-classification chart and the given expressions, draft the essay. Check the draft, revise and finalize it. Make the final draft. 根据学生制作关于自己最爱的艺术的细节分类图表的过程,了解学生对于细节分类梳理写作要点这一思维技巧的掌握情况,以及对所喜爱的艺术相关知识的语言表达储备。 观察学生写作任务完成情况,必要时给予指导和反馈。
设计意图:参考活动3绘制的细节分类图表、列出的关键词汇和句型句式,综合运用所学目标语言,完成初稿,提升语言综合运用能力。
Step 4 Evaluating 1. Invite the partner to rate the final draft in Activity 4. 2. Edit the draft. 3. Some students present the final drafts to the class. 根据学生完成的作文,评价其综合运用所学词语、句型和结构的水平,给予指导和反馈。
设计意图: 引导学生通过自评和同伴互评,反思自己作文的表达效果,修改完善文章,提升写作质量,实现以评促学。
IV. Blackboard design
