I. Material analysis
Thinking Skills:本部分为思维技能学习,内容为辨析客观事实与主观观点,即区分基于个人认知、情感的主观判断与基于真实存在、可验证的客观情况,培养学生的批判性思维能力。第一步,教师呈现思维技能的定义和说明。第二步,学生借助图片、文本和图表初步了解如何辨析客观事实与主观观点。第三步,学生根据文本内容填写事实与观点图表,巩固和内化所学内容。第四步,学生根据Activity 2的内容讨论西湖的相关信息。本部分共有3个活动。
Reading Strategies:本部分为阅读策略的学习,内容为引导学生通过阅读上下文推断的阅读策略判断代词的指代。第一步,教师呈现阅读策略的要点及推断的活动示例,学生初步学习理解如何进行代词指代的推断。第二步,学生通过阅读文本开展应用实践活动,推断代词指代。第三步,学生阅读有关悉尼歌剧院的文本,画出代词并判断代词指代,巩固阅读策略。本部分共有3个活动。

本课时为思维技能和阅读策略的学习。 Thinking Skills部分为辨析客观事实与主观观点这一思维技能的学习。Activity 1为学习理解类活动。学生阅读有关白洋淀的文本及事实与观点图表,并学习如何通过客观事实与主观观点描述一处景观,初步掌握思维技能。Activity 2为应用实践类活动。学生阅读有关西湖的文本,完成事实与观点图表,巩固和内化Activity 1中所学的思维技能。Activity 3为迁移创新类活动。学生分组基于Activity 2,进一步讨论西湖,强化对所学思维技能的掌握。 Reading Strategies部分为“通过推断代词指代”阅读策略的学习,主要内容为推断文本中代词指代的内容。Activity 1呈现文本、代词及其所指代的事物,让学生初步了解此阅读策略。Activity 2要求学生通过阅读文本和填写表格,对该阅读策略进行应用实践。Activity 3为话题迁移创新活动。学生通过阅读有关悉尼歌剧院的文本进行练习,巩固阅读策略。

Step 1 Lead-in Look at the picture about Baiyang Lake in Activity 1 and read the text. 2. Learn to distinguish facts from opinions by using a chart. 观察学生阅读文本后辨析客观事实与主观观点的表现,给予必要的指导。
