Language points
1. Welcome to Class 1, Grade 7！ 欢迎来到七年级一班！
(1) Welcome 作感叹词时，意为“欢迎”。用于对刚刚到达的人表示欢迎。welcome to意为“欢迎来到……”，其后跟表示地点的here、there、home等副词时，省略to。例如：
Welcome to Guangxi! 欢迎来到广西！
Hi, welcome home. 嗨，欢迎回家。
(2) “Class 1, Grade 7”意为“七年级一班”，也可以写作“Class One, Grade Seven”(首字母要大写)。英语中的地点按从小到大的顺序排列，这和汉语正好相反。

主语+be +数词+year(s)old : 某人……岁
(其中year(s) old可以省略。)

( 其中动词 be的形式由主语的人称和数决定 )

be good at …/ do well in… 擅长……
(后面跟名词、代词或 v-ing形式)

e.g.
6. I often play football after school. 我经常在放学后踢足球。
(1) play football 意为“踢足球”。通常表示“一日三餐、球类运动、棋牌类”等名词前不用冠词。例如：
play basketball/table tennis/chess/cards 打篮球/打乒乓球/下棋/打牌
have breakfast/lunch/supper 吃早餐/中餐/晚餐
拓展： 1) play + the + 乐器
2) play with sb./sth.和某人/某物玩
(2) after school 意为“放学后”, after 是介词，意为“在……之后”，通常指时间上的“以后”。类似的短语有：after class/lunch/work 课后/午餐后/下班后
7. He is smart and always ready to others.
be ready to do 准备做某事，为做某事做好了准备，乐意做某事。
后跟动词原型。而前面有always表示“随时准备做某事或乐于做某事”。
e.g. I'm ready to cook dinner. 我准备做晚饭
I am ready to help you 我随时可帮助你(乐意)
拓展： be ready for 指“为……做好准备”，后面跟名词
e.g. I am ready for the test. 我已经为考试做好准备。(没有乐意的意思)
8. He is interested in science.
be interested in 对……感兴趣；喜欢做……
后接in sb./sth. 或者 in doing sth.，表示对什么感兴趣，对什么关心。
1、be interested in+sb.，表示对某人感兴趣。
e.g. I’m interested in you. 我对你很关注哦。
2、be interested in+sth.，表示对某物感兴趣。
e.g. The ants are interested in sugar. 蚂蚁对糖青睐有加。
3、be interested in+doing sth.，表示对做某事感兴趣。
e.g. They are interested in playing basketball. 他们对打篮球兴趣。
