Here are some sentences from Millie’s article about Daniel. Read them and pay attention to the use of the verbs.

We use the simple present tense when we talk about:
我们常用行为动词的一般现在时谈论我们经常做的事、不受时间限制的客观事实以及人或物的一般特征。
1) She sings very well.
2) The fish soup is nice. You cook really well.
1. 经常性、习惯性的行为。
1) I often go to the Art Club after school.
2) She often helps her mother clean rooms.
2. 不受时间限制的客观事实。
1) Fish live in water.
2) The earth goes around the sun.
3. 人或物的一般特征。
行为动词的一般现在时
当我们用一般现在时进行表达的时候，不能同时使用动词be和行为动词。

一般现在时:
1.经常做的事; Things that we often do
2.不受时间限制的客观事实; Things that are always true
3.人或物的一般特征; Things that are true now
注意:一般现在时常与always、often、usually、sometimes等频度副词或every day/week/morningin the morning/afternoon/evening等时间状语连用。

How do we use the simple tense
1) He plays football every day.
2) She visits museums every weekend.
3) It tastes good.
根据主语的人称和数的不同，行为动词的一般现在时有两种形式。
1. 当主语是第一人称的单复数、第二人称的单复数和第三人称复数时，行为动词使用其原形。
1) We/I have different subjects at school.
2) You come very early.
3) They enjoy jogging in their free time.
2. 当主语是第三人称单数时，行为动词使用其第三人称单数形式。
行为动词一般现在时的第三人称单数形式
