Project
一、单元主题
该主题属于“人与自我”范畴,涉及“多彩、安全、有意义的学校生活”以及“积极的个人选择、学习体验、合理安排时间,恰当的学习方法与策略,勤学善思”。
二、项目活动研读
What:
本课时的主要内容是巩固本单元重要的学科词汇以及表达喜爱科目和原因的重点句型。通过游戏活动,让学生们积极参与并充分表达出自己的喜欢科目,了解不同同学的兴趣科目,同时去发现不同科目的特点,发掘各个学科重要性,学会自己设计周课程表,合理安排学科以及学习时间。
Why:
本课时主要是对本单元的语言和文化知识进行一定的全面复习,展现学生对喜爱科目的自由表达,思维迁移,学以致用的能力提升。通过小组合作和探究3B和3C,即学会了尊重别人的兴趣学科,又分享了自己的喜爱学科,经过对比和反思,在被动选择和主动选择之间合理安排自己学习生活时间。
How:
本课时在3C活动前,设置了一些教学活动,让学生们巩固了重点词汇和短语,如在a flower of subjects中回顾单词;在Guess and talk环节中,让学生表达科目特点,通过句子提示和图片由浅入深,让学生用英语表达出跟该科目相关的事,从而达到语言知识点的掌握和语言能力的输出。
通过课堂游戏,让学生们自由发挥,主观表达自己的喜爱科目以及原因,充分体现了寓教于乐,发挥学生的学习积极主动性,提升语言交际和口语表达能力。
3.在3B和3C环节,通过让学生们先谈论自己的喜爱科目以及相关事情,书写出自己是如何制定周课表的,以及这样制定课表的原因,再通过学生上台分享小组成果,观看制定课表规则,再进行小组互评,自评和师评,从而培养了学生在真实情境中运用语言和文化知识解决实际问题的能力,推动迁移创新,达到口语表达能力和写作能力的进一步提升,学习能力得到了加强和思维能力也得到了提高,同时也体现了新课标的教学评一体化要求。
三、学情分析
在前面的五节课时学习的基础上,学生对于表达自己喜欢的科目及缘由有了一定的掌握,本节课在此基础上对重点单词和句型再进行全面的加深和巩固,学生接受起来不会很困难;但是要想让学生能够很好完成项目活动中的不同难度的要求,需要学生掌握并能灵活运用所学的词汇和句型。
同时也需要加强小组合作的团队精神来共同完成如何制定周课表的任务,提升书写,口语交际和表达能力。通过课程表的制作,了解自己对各个学科的认识,了解为什么要学习不同的学科,了解各个学科的价值和重要性,学会保持积极的学习态度,发现学科的魅力和乐趣,从而找到自己。

To be able to summarize and master key words, phrases, sentence patterns about expressing favorite subjects.

Students can find and compare their favorite subjects and share it in class.

Be able to express and write your favorite subjects and reasons,and participate in project activities in pair-work or group, and enjoy sharing and communication

Can understand the value and importance of various subjects, learn to keep a positive learning attitude, and discover the charm and joy of each subject.

九、Teaching process
Step 1、Presenting teaching aims.
By presenting the teaching targets of this lesson.(核心素养展示)
Step 2、 Lead-in
At first, watching the video about subjects and answer the questions.
Step 3、Presentation
Review important words about all subjects. Then, read aloud together.(学科词汇复习)
Step 4、Guess and Talk
First, I will show a picture of a subject. Divide each two students into a pair. A asks the question and B answers. Then, B asks and A answers. (既有语言知识输出,又能体现学生的思维迁移,锻炼了语用能力)
Step 5、Pair-work
Give them three minutes to talk about favorite subjects and why. After that, invite some students to share in the class. I will require them to say at least one reason of their favorite subject. (重点句型操练,自由讨论,口语提升)
For example:
A: What’ s your favorite subject B: My favorite subject is History.
A: Why do you like it B: Because it’s interesting to learn about the past.
Step 6、Activity ( make a snowman)
4 students a group, and give them 2 minutes to discuss, finally, I will choose one group to show.(开展游戏活动,激发学生的学习兴趣,积极参与课堂,有助于智力和交际能力的发展,同时进一步巩固了表达喜爱科目及其原因的句型)
Step 7、Group works
Before 3b, I will explain the meaning of “schedule”, and introduce some rules about how to make a weekly course schedule (timetable).Beside, I will also give them Mike’s timetable and his statement for reference. Then I will invite one student to read aloud for the whole class. Next, I will give students three minutes to make their own weekly schedule. Students can design the timetable as they like. Four groups in total and each group should present their design later. (发挥学生主观性,借鉴模板提示完成课表设置并用语段书写描述)
Step 8、Show time
Before presenting, I will play a video about the rules of making weekly course schedule. After that, I will ask one representative of a group to show their design and introduce their weekly schedule and why they make it like this.(成果展示,上台分享并享受其中的快乐,能用完整的英语句子准确的表达和描述制作这个课表的原因,引导大家发现学科的兴趣)
Step9、Evaluation
After presenting, give each group remarks according to the evaluation principles. Give the winner group 2 points. Then choose one design of the four to have further thinking.(教师让学生根据项目学习展示汇报对其他小组进行点评和打分,最后选出一个组的课程设计引发学生的进一步思考)
Step10、Further thinking
Analysis the timetable of Group 1. Ask students if they like it and why. Then ask them whether the timetable is reasonable or not and give their reasons. Then, I will make a conclusion---- Every subject is important. Next, I will ask the reason of studying different subjects. Last, give my reasons of learning different subjects and tell students that interest is the best teacher!(启发:兴趣是最好的老师)
Step11、Reflecting and Summary
Remind students of what they learned in this unit and let them to evaluate themselves!
Step12、Homework
(1)Must do: Write three sentences about your favorite subjects and the reasons
by using the key words of this unit.
(2)Choose to do: Instruct your younger brother and sister on how to design their weekly schedule for primary school.
