first，...next，...then，...after_that，...finally，...首先，……接下来……，然后，……随后，……最后，……
这是英语中表达做某事的步骤所用的顺序副词。通常你会听到讲英语国家的人在说first，next，then，after that，finally和后面的内容时，他们会做一些停顿，这样就能提前告诉听者接下来讲的是一系列的步骤。这一点在朗读和听力中应特别注意。

1)how about表建议，可以用what about替换。用于提出建议或征求对方意见，后接名词、代词或动词 ing形式。

2)类似表建议的词还有：should/could/ought to/had better/why not/...＋动词原形。

Why not go there on Tuesday？It's half price then.

感叹句用法
感叹句用来表达强烈的情感(如惊喜、赞美、愤怒等)，结构主要有两种：
1．What引导的感叹句
结构：
1)What＋a/an＋形容词＋可数名词单数(＋主语＋谓语)!
例如：What a clever girl (she is)！多么聪明的女孩！
2)What＋形容词＋可数名词复数/不可数名词(＋主语＋谓语)!
例如：What beautiful flowers (they are)！多美的花！
What cold weather (it is)！多冷的天气！
关键：中心词是名词，用What引导。
2．How引导的感叹句
结构：
1)How＋形容词/副词(＋主语＋谓语)!
例如：How tall the building is！这楼真高！
How fast he drives！他开得真快！
2)How＋主语＋谓语！(强调动作)
例如：How she sings！她唱得真好！
关键：中心词是形容词或副词，用How引导。
3．判断用What还是How的技巧
1)看主语前的词：
若有名词，用What(如a good day)；
若无名词，只有形容词/副词，用How(如hard working)。
例如：What a funny joke it is！(joke是名词)
How funny the joke is！(funny是形容词)
2)简化法：
去掉感叹部分，看剩余句子主谓部分是否完整。
例如：How beautiful the girl is！→剩余“the girl is”主谓完整，用How。
4．例句对比
1)赞美What a cute cat！How cute the cat is!
2)惊讶What heavy rain！How heavily it rains!
3)感叹What hard working students！How hard the students study!

My grandmother is an amazing cook.She loves sharing her recipes with me.One of my favourite treats is her pumpkin pie.
In autumn，when the weather gets colder，she starts preparing the ingredients.First，she mixes eggs，cream，sugar，a bit of salt，and cinnamon in a bowl.The mixture smells so good.Then she pours it into the pie.
The sweet smell of cinnamon always fills the kitchen with warmth as the pie bakes.It's a smell that reminds me of her love whenever I catch it.
Cooking with her is not just about making food but about creating memories．She always says the secret to good cooking is to cook with love.And I believe her.At least，every time I eat her pumpkin pie，I feel the love that is made visible through her cooking.

fill...with...用……充满/填满……(表示动作)
例如：I fill the box with old books.

3．Finally，let the pie cool for at least an hour before serving.
at least意为“至少”，可用来修饰名词、动词、形容词、副词等，表示数量、程度或条件的最低限度或起点，或者不少于某个特定的标准。
例如：I go to swim at least once a week.

My favourite dish is Mapo tofu.I like it best because it always reminds me of my grandma，who is very good at making this dish.Here's how to make it：
First，prepare 300 grams of soft tofu，some minced meat，and ingredients like bean paste (豆瓣酱)，ginger，garlic，and scallions (香葱)．
Next，cut the tofu into small cubes and blanch them in boiling water for about 2 minutes，then drain.
Then，heat some oil in a pan，add minced meat and stir fry until it changes colour.Put in ginger and garlic.
After that，add bean paste and stir well.Pour in some water.Add the blanched tofu gently.Add some salt and a little sugar.
Finally，thicken the sauce with starch water and sprinkle with scallions.A delicious Mapo tofu is ready.
