Mr Liu: Good morning, boys and girls. In a few days, you will go on your exchange trip. You’re going to experience life in London and learn about the British culture. Please remember that all of you must arrive at the airport before 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, the 6th of November. Are you excited about going on the exchange trip
Students: Yes!
Su Mei: I’m really nervous, Mr Liu. I’ve never visited another country.
Mr Liu: Don’t worry, Su Mei. You’ll be fine. For the next two weeks in London, you’re going to stay with your host family. They’ve already planned fun weekend activities for you.
Li Hua: What are we going to do on weekdays, Mr Liu
Mr Liu: On weekdays, you’re going to have classes at Woodpark School.
Li Hua: Cool! I’m curious to know how the school is different from ours.
Su Mei: Are there any dos and don’ts, Mr Liu
Mr Liu: You should follow your host family’s home rules when staying with them. You should respect the local culture too. When you come back, you’re going to write a report on the exchange trip, so remember to take lots of notes and take some pictures!
Su Mei: Sure! I’m going to take pictures wherever I go!
Mr Liu: Hmm … Hmm … Remember to ask for permission before you take a photo of someone.
