How to form comparative and superlative of adverbs
1) Rules
For adverbs ending in -ly, we add more (comparative) and (the) most (superlative) before them.
carefully → more carefully → (the) most carefully
For adverbs that do not end in -ly and have the same form as adjectives, we often add -er (comparative) and -est (superlative).
