Here is a video about Moscow, the capital of Russia.
There is a famous square in Moscow. Its name is Red Square, but Red Square is not red. Then why is it called Red Square Because in Russian, red means “beautiful”.

Red Square is the central square of Moscow and of all Russia.
The buildings near the square are very important too.
Alexander Garden is in Moscow centre and near metro station Alexandrovsky Sad. Each day thousands of people visit here. The garden is famous for its beautiful flowerbeds and history. People built it to remember Russian victories.

Now, look here. In hot weather this big fountain (喷泉) with horses becomes a water attraction too.

Another place we will visit at noon is Victory Museum. Russian people built it to remember their fight against the Nazis. It reminds people that peace doesn’t come easily. We should not forget it.

The Russian people built the Victory Museum to remember their fight against the Nazis during the World War II. Vincent leant the history of Russia there.

The artwork must give him a deep impression (印象). It reminds people that war is terrible and peace doesn’t come easily.

再次阅读两篇日记,总结旅行日记的语篇特点。
本课的两篇日记是按照时间顺序记叙了作者在莫斯科旅行中的所见所闻所感。从语篇形式上看,属于应用文,从篇章结构上看属于记叙文。全文大量使用了一般过去时来回忆Vincent的两日的行程。但文中也出现了几处一般现在时的描写,用来反映作者当下的所见所感。
现在时的使用更直观的让读者感受到在任何时刻我们都要牢记战争的残酷、和平的可贵。
从这些词语中读者能够感受到作者的心情波动和对旅行的感受。第二个语篇中作者还使用了两个感叹号来表达强烈感情。
旅行日记语篇的特点有:
作者会采用大量形容词和副词来描述所见、抒发情感。
通过对细节的描写来展现旅行的魅力。
描绘与当地人或其他旅客的互动,增进了人与人之间的友谊和文化了解。
