1. Did you go anywhere interesting 你去过什么有趣的地方吗?
Did you eat anything special 你吃过什么特别的东西吗?
这两个句子都是一般过去时的一般疑问句,并且都运用了形容词后置修饰不定代词或不定副词的语法点,用于询问过去是否做过某事或去过某地,以及相关事物是否有趣或特别。
常见的不定代词有:something, anything(任何事物,任何东西), nothing(没有任何东西;没有事), everything; someone, anyone, no one, everyone; somebody, anybody, nobody, everybody。
例如:
I saw something interesting in the park. 我在公园里看到了有趣的东西。
Is there anything wrong with your phone 你的手机有什么问题吗?
She has nothing important to say. 她没什么重要的话要说。
She knows everything about this project. 她对这个项目了如指掌。
Everyone needs someone kind to talk to. 每个人都需要一个友善的人来倾诉。
Someone is waiting for you at the door. 有人在门口等你。
Anyone can make mistakes. 任何人都会犯错。
No one can do without sleep for very long. 谁也不能很久不睡觉。
(2) 常见的不定副词有:anywhere(在任何地方;随便哪个地方), somewhere(在某处;到某处;大约;大概;某个地方(用于肯定句中)), nowhere(无处;哪里都不;毫无结果;毫无进展;无名之地), everywhere(处处;到处;各个地方;所有地方)。
例如:
Did you go anywhere nice during the holiday 你假期去了什么好玩的地方吗?
I want to go somewhere quiet to relax. 我想去个安静的地方放松一下。
He looked everywhere possible but couldn’t find his keys. 他找遍了所有可能的地方,但还是没找到钥匙。

【修饰名词的限定词】
①只能修饰可数名词单数的限定词,其谓语部分常用单数。
a(n), one, another, each, every, either, neither, many a, such a
例如:Many a student has passed the exam. 许多学生都通过了考试。
②只能修饰可数名词复数的限定词,其谓语部分常用复数。
few, a few, many, too many, a great many, a number of, several, both, a couple of
例如:There are too many mistakes in your homework. 你的作业中有太多错误。

A number of students have joined the club. 许多学生加入了俱乐部。
The number of students in our class is 50. 我们班学生的数量是 50 人。
I have a couple of friends in this school. 我在这所学校有几个朋友。
③只能修饰不可数名词的限定词,其谓语部分常用单数。
little, a little, much, a great deal of, a large amount of
例如:A great deal of work needs to be done. 有大量的工作需要做。
A large amount of money was spent on this project. 这个项目花了大量的钱。
④既能修饰可数名词又能修饰不可数名词,其谓语单复数视具体名词的单复数而定。

例如:
All the students are here. All the money is mine.
所有的学生都在这里。所有的钱都是我的。
Most students like sports. Most water in the river is polluted.
大多数学生喜欢运动。河里的大部分水都被污染了。
3. Everything tasted good, especially the steamed chicken soup. 所有的东西都很好吃,尤其是那道清蒸鸡汤。
taste 在这里是系动词,意为 “尝起来”,后面接形容词作表语。
它还可以作实义动词,意为 “品尝”,后接名词。
例如:Taste the soup and see if it needs more salt.

5. How great it was! 那真是太棒了!
感叹句是用以表达喜怒哀乐等强烈情感的句子。以下是感叹句的主要结构及用法:
① 由what引导的感叹句
结构:What + (a/an) + 形容词 + 名词 + 主语 + 谓语!
② 由how引导的感叹句
结构:How + 形容词/副词 + 主语 + 谓语!
多么美丽的一朵花啊!What a beautiful flower it is!
这花多么美丽啊! How beautiful the flower is!
6. We stayed in the old town for a few days.我们在老城区待了几天。
“a few”“few”“a little”“little”的区别如下:
① 所修饰的词
a few和few:修饰可数名词复数, “a few apples”(几个苹果)
a little和little:修饰不可数名词, “a little water”(一点水)
② 含义及语气
a few和a little:表示“有一些、有几个”,强调有一定数量,语气肯定。
few和little:意思是“很少、几乎没有”,强调数量极少,语气否定。
我在这儿有几个朋友。 I have a few friends here.
冰箱里有一点面包。There is a little bread in the fridge.
很少有学生通过考试。Few students passed the exam.
他几乎没剩下什么钱。He has little money left.
7. It just took my breath away. 它让我惊呆了。
take one’s breath away字面意思“把呼吸带走”,实际含义“使某人惊叹;使某人陶醉”
The beautiful sunset takes my breath away every time.美丽的日落每次令我惊叹。
①【名词】“呼吸;气息”take a deep breath. 做一次深呼吸。
Take a deep breath and then blow out all the candles.深呼吸,然后吹灭所有的蜡烛。
② out of breath “上气不接下气;喘不过气来”

③ hold one's breath “屏住呼吸”
