核心语法：时间状语从句
一、 什么是时间状语从句？
状语： 用来修饰动词、形容词或整个句子的成分，说明时间、地点、原因等。
时间状语： 用来说明动作发生的时间。
时间状语从句： 用一个完整的句子来充当时间状语，说明主句动作发生的时间。这个句子由从属连词（如 when, while, before 等）引导。
简单来说： 用一个句子（从句）来回答“什么时候”这个问题。
二、 常见引导词及用法（重点掌握）
七年级上册主要要求掌握以下几个最常用的时间状语从句引导词：
引导词 含义 用法说明 例句
when 当...时 用法最广。可指时间点，也可指时间段；主句和从句动作可同时发生，也可一先一后。 When the teacher came in, we were reading. （老师进来时，我们正在看书。）
while 在...期间；正当...时 强调主句和从句动作同时持续进行，从句动词通常是延续性动词。 While I was doing my homework, my mother was cooking. （在我做作业期间，妈妈在做饭。）
before 在...之前 主句动作发生在从句动作之前。 Before you go to bed, brush your teeth. （在你睡觉之前，要刷牙。）
after 在...之后 主句动作发生在从句动作之后。 After he finished work, he went home. （他完成工作之后，就回家了。）
as soon as 一...就... 表示两个动作紧接着发生，间隔很短。 I will call you as soon as I get home. （我一到家就给你打电话。）
三、 核心语法规则：“主将从现”
这是学习时间状语从句最重要的规则，必须牢记！
规则： 如果主句是将来时（或含有将来的意味，如祈使句），那么时间状语从句必须用一般现在时来表示将来。
公式：
主句 (将来时/祈使句) + when/while/before/after/as soon as... + 从句 (一般现在时)
I will wait here until she comes back.
（我会一直在这里等，直到她回来。）
Please call me when you arrive.
（你到了之后请给我打电话。）
He is going to play basketball after he finishes his homework.
（他完成作业之后要去打篮球。）
I will tell him the news as soon as I see him.
（我一见到他就告诉他这个消息。）
常见错误：
~~I will call you when I will arrive.~~ （错误！）
正确： I will call you when I arrive.
四、 易混引导词辨析
when vs. while
引导词 侧重点 动词特点 例句
when 动作发生的时间点 从句动词可以是瞬间动词或延续性动词 When I got home, it was raining. （我到家时，正在下雨。）【got是瞬间动词】
while 动作的持续过程 从句动词必须是延续性动词（如 be, do, live, work, study, rain等） While I was walking, I saw a bird. （在我走路期间，我看到一只鸟。）【walk是延续性动词】
简单区分：
当从句是进行时态（be doing）时，常用 while。
When 可以代替 while，但 while 不能代替 when 引导瞬间动作。
五、 学习小窍门
1、找到“时间词”： 在句中找出 when, while, before, after, as soon as 这些词，它们后面引导的就是时间状语从句。
2、判断主句时态： 看看主句是不是将来时（will, be going to）或祈使句（动词原形开头）。
3、应用“主将从现”： 如果主句是将来时，那么从句的动词就要用一般现在时（do/does）。
