一、核心概念
定语从句 在复合句中修饰名词或代词，相当于形容词的作用，因此也称为形容词性从句。被修饰的词称为先行词，定语从句跟在先行词后面，由关系词引导。
二、关系词的分类与用法

1. who vs. whom
who 在从句中作主语
The person who called you is my friend.
whom 在从句中作宾语（可省略）
The person (whom) you called is my friend.
2. which vs. that
which 指物，在从句中作主语或宾语
The book which is on the table is interesting.
that 可指人或物，在从句中作主语或宾语
The man that is speaking is my father.
3. whose
表示所属关系，相当于"的"
The student whose father is a doctor works hard.
四、关系副词用法详解
