核心语法：结果状语从句
一、 定义
结果状语从句用来表示主句动作或状态所导致的结果。简单来说，就是“如此……以至于……”，主句是原因，从句是结果。
二、 引导词
最常见的引导结果状语从句的连词是 so...that... 和 such...that...。
1. So...that... (如此……以至于……)
结构： so + 形容词/副词 + that从句
功能： so 后面直接修饰形容词或副词。
例句：
He ran so fast that I couldn't catch up with him.
（他跑得如此快，以至于我跟不上他。）
so 修饰副词 fast。
The movie was so interesting that I watched it twice.
（这部电影如此有趣，以至于我看了两遍。）
so 修饰形容词 interesting。
2. Such...that... (如此……以至于……)
结构： such + (a/an) + (形容词) + 名词 + that从句
功能： such 后面修饰名词（可数或不可数）。
例句：
It was such a hot day that we all went swimming.
（天气如此炎热，以至于我们都去游泳了。）
such 修饰名词短语 a hot day。
She has such beautiful eyes that everyone admires her.
（她有如此漂亮的眼睛，以至于每个人都羡慕她。）
such 修饰名词短语 beautiful eyes。
He made such great progress that the teacher praised him.
（他取得了如此大的进步，以至于老师表扬了他。）
such 修饰不可数名词 progress。
三、 So...that... 与 Such...that... 的用法区别
这是学习的重点和难点，关键在于看后面的中心词是什么。
引导词 修饰对象 结构公式 例句
So 形容词/副词 so + adj./adv. + that ... The box is so heavy that I can't lift it.
Such 名词 such (+ a/an) (+ adj.) + noun + that ... It is such a heavy box that I can't lift it.
记忆小窍门：
如果句子中间是“a/an + adj. + noun”，就用 such。
such a beautiful garden
如果句子中间是“so + adj.”，后面没有名词跟随时，就用 so。
so beautiful
特殊情况：
当名词前有表示“多”或“少”的形容词时（如 many, much, few, little），必须用 so。
I have so much homework that I can't go out tonight. (√)
I have such much homework that... (×)
四、 结果状语从句的简化与转换
结果状语从句有时可以转换为简单句，使表达更简洁。
1. 转换为 “too...to...” 结构（太……而不能……）
当主句和从句的主语一致，且从句为否定句时。
He was so tired that he couldn't walk any further.
→ He was too tired to walk any further.
（他太累了，不能再走了。）
2. 转换为 “…enough to…” 结构（足够……可以……）
当主句和从句的主语一致，且从句为肯定句时。
He is so strong that he can lift the box.
→ He is strong enough to lift the box.
（他足够强壮，可以抬起这个箱子。）
五、 与其他从句的区别
1. 与目的状语从句的区别：
结果状语从句： 表示客观事实上的结果。
I got up early, so that I caught the early bus. (我起得早，结果赶上了早班车。）(事实结果)
目的状语从句： 表示主观想要达到的目的。
I got up early so that I could catch the early bus. (我起得早，是为了能赶上早班车。）(主观目的)
注意： 目的状语从句中常含情态动词（can, could, may, might等）。
