辨析：on time与in time
on time 准时 指按规定的时间或指定的时间做某事
in time 及时
◇ The train arrives on time. 火车准时到达。
◇ It’s impossible to get there in time. 不可能及时到达那里。
指不迟到或正好赶在事先约定的时间之前或接近所规定的时间做某事
pick up
是“动词+副词”型短语。名词作宾语时，可放在pick与up之间或up之后；人称代词作宾语时，则必须放在pick与up之间。
①（开车）接人
◇ I will pick you up at the train station. 我将去火车站接你。
②捡起；举起
◇ She picked up the wallet and passed it to me.
她捡起钱包递给了我。
