Everyone has hobbies that bring joy and meaning to life. My hobby is reading, which has been a part of my daily routine for years. It not only enriches my knowledge but also helps me relax.
I started reading storybooks when I was six. At first, I loved picture books with colorful images. As I grew older, I moved on to novels and science books. My favorite books are about adventure and nature. When I read, I feel like traveling to different places or meeting interesting people. For example, after reading The Little Prince, I learned about love and responsibility. Reading also improves my writing skills. I often take notes of beautiful sentences, which helps me in my English and Chinese classes.
In a word, reading is more than a hobby for me—it’s a lifelong friend. It opens up a whole new world and makes me a better person. I will keep reading and explore more wonderful stories in the future .
