W: That sounds nice．Are there other activities M: Yes , we also hold monthly workshops on organic farming and cooking with homeＧgrown produce． W: What about the kids in the neighborhood Do they get involved
M: Absolutely．They can join the “Little Gardeners ” club , where they learn to water plants , harvest vegetables , and make sim ple snacks with what they grow．
W: That m ust help them understand where food comes from and develop a sense of responsibility． M: Exactly．Kids also get to sell some of their harvest at the com m unity market and donate the money to
local anim al shelters． W: So the garden isnt just for growing plants , but for bringing people closer too． M: Thats exactly the goal of the project．

M: Good evening , everyone! Today , I want to tell you about a project we started to keep our towns history from fading away．Its easy to miss how old landm arks slowly disappear in daily life , but around here , historic buildings have been disappearing pretty fast．Our town has a line of old stone cottages—each over １００ years old—located alongside a narrow river．Lately , developers have been tearing them down to put up modern apartment buildings , and with that, the stories behind these homes are being forgotten．Thats why I came up with a plan to get people to notice．I started “Legacy Homes”—a project where I made hundreds of metal plates , each with the year the cottage was first built．I gave these plates to the current owners , who put them on their front doors．Local school kids then looked into each cottages history , writing short stories about who lived there long ago , and stuck those next to the plates．Luckily , our efforts have paid off: several old homes have already been fixed up instead of being destroyed．And in the future , were going to do even more．
