Step 1 Warm-up & Revision 播放《What can you do 》视频,唤醒学生关于“can”句型的已有记忆,自然渗透本课核心功能语言。

Step 2 Presentation & Practice 创设“动物才艺表演”的情景,激发学生学习的兴趣,同时引出本课的重点生词。 借助课件动画表现“兔子跳跃”的画面,将抽象词汇“jump”转化为具象动作。教师边跳边说“jump”,运用TPR教学法,通过身体动作将语言符号与行为体验绑定,加深学生对词义的理解。 运用“拆音节”的方法教授生词volleyball,更利于生词记忆;“拟声词联想”教授生词ping-pong,将抽象语音转化为可感知的动作体验。 教师做动作请学生猜测对应的英文短语,学生从“观察动作”到“自主造句”,完成从输入到输出的语言内化闭环。学生PK活动,培养团队协作精神。 通过跟读模仿、分角色表演对话,培养学生的语感与语调意识。
Get ready 1. Learn new words.(单词学习) 通过Animal talent show,引出生词jump、far、high、volleyball、ping-pong及sport。 学习生词jump、far及high。 T: Animals can also do many things. Let’s watch the Animal Talent Show and describe their abilities. (课件出示小狗奔跑的图片) What can the dog do Ss: It can run! T: Great! (课件出示鱼儿游动的图片) What can the fish do Ss: It can swim. T: That’s right! (课件出示小猴攀爬的图片) What can the monkey do Ss: It can climb. T: Good job! (课件出示兔子的图片) Now let’s look at the little rabbit. What can it do 利用课件动画效果,展示兔子跳的动作,引出生词jump。教师板书生词jump,并边跳边说出生词jump,用肢体语言帮助学生理解jump的含义。随后进行教读。 T: Can you jump Ss: Yes! 课件用动画出示跳远及跳高的图片,引出生词far、high及词组jump far、jump high。 课件出示chant,师生共同吟唱: Dog, dog, what can you do I can run, I can run. Fish, fish, what can you do I can swim, I can swim. Monkey, monkey, what can you do I can climb, I can climb. Rabbit, rabbit, what can you do I can jump, I can jump. Dog can run, fish can swim, monkey can climb and rabbit can jump. Read again and circle.(课堂练习) 教师请学生再次读对话,完成四个小题,圈出Daming是否会做这些事。在读对话前,教师教授词组“at first”的含义。 3. Listen and follow. & Play roles.(模仿跟读&角色扮演) (1)课件出示完整的对话内容,教师播放音频,学生跟读及模仿其语音、语调。注意疑问句升调、感叹句降调等基本语调。 (2)小组活动:学生分角色表演对话,从语调、感情、肢体动作、发音及合作五个维度进行评价,全班选出表演得最好的小组,教师给予相应的奖励。 4. In focus.(语法) 教师出示该部分的图片内容,先请学生读句子。 随后课件出示两组句子: —Can you jump high —Yes, I can. —Can you swim —No, I can’t. 引导学生归纳总结询问并回答对方是否能做某事的句型为: Can you + 动词/动词短语 肯定回答:Yes, I can. 否定回答:No, I can’t.
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 通过多种练习活动及小组活动,学生对所学单词和句型进一步巩固和记忆,同时也培养了学生的团队合作意识。
1. Look and write.(练习活动) 教师先请学生看Look and write.部分的四幅图片,随后根据图片内容补全句子缺失的部分。教师请几名学生核对答案,其他学生评判他/她是否说得正确。 2. Look, ask and answer. 课件出示多组对话及图片,学生根据图片内容,将对话中缺失的部分补充完整,进行问答。 3. Work in pairs. Ask and answer.(小组活动) (1)学生两人一组,一人询问对方是否会做某事,另一人进行回答。例如: A: Can you run fast B: Yes, I can. A: Can you swim B: No, I can’t. (2)其他活动参考: ①参考活动1 教师提前准备卡片,每张写一个动词短语(如:jump high, run fast, swim, play volleyball, play ping-pong等)。 学生A抽一张卡片,向B提问:“Can you+动词短语 ” B根据自身实际情况回答:“Yes, I can.”或“No, I can’t.” 两人交换角色,B抽新卡片继续问答。 ②参考活动2 情景1:运动会报名(“Can you run 100 meters ”) 情景2:才艺秀选拔(“Can you play the violin ”) 任务:小组内轮流扮演“面试官”和“应聘者”,用目标句型完成对话。
