I have difficulties in my studies. 我在学习上有困难。
difficulty 意为“难题;困难;难事”时,为可数名词,其复数形式为 difficulties;意为“艰难;困难;费劲”时,为不可数名词,其固定搭配为:have difficulty (in) doing sth. 做某事有困难,可与 have trouble in (doing)sth. 进行互换,in是介词,后跟名词或动词的-ing形式作宾语。
e.g. I have some difficulties in maths.
我在数学方面有一些困难。
I have difficulty in studying English. = I have trouble in studying English. 我在学英语方面有困难。
Language points
拓展:difficult为形容词,意为“(困)难的;难懂的”。be difficult(for sb.)to do sth.(对某人来说)做某事很难。
e.g. It’s difficult (for me) to remember new words.
(对我来说)记生词很难。

这个故事孩子们理解起来有点难。
how to make new friends 意为“如何交朋友”,为“特殊疑问词+动词不定式”结构,在句中作宾语。 特殊疑问词 what, where,when, which, how 等常用于 know, tell, ask, learn, find out 等动词或动词短语之后作宾语。
e.g. I don’t know what to do next. 我不知道下一步做什么。
2. I don’t know how to make new friends.
我不知道如何交新朋友。
拓展提升:“疑问词+动词不定式”结构可以转化为从句主语与主句主语一致的宾语从句。
e.g. I don’t know what to have for dinner.
= I don’t know what I should have for dinner. 我不知道晚饭吃什么。
