基本句型结构为 “What color + be + 主语(被询问的物品)?”。
当句子主语是单数时, be动词用is, 其答语一般用“It’s + 表示颜色的形容词”;
当句子主语是复数时, be动词用are, 其答语一般用 “They’re + 表示颜色的形容词”。

e.g. — What color is the pen
这支钢笔什么颜色?
— It’s white.
它是白色的。
— What color are the cups
这些茶杯什么颜色?
— They’re yellow.
它们是黄色的。
【注意】
回答 “What color + be + 主语 ” 时也可直接回答颜色。
e.g. — What color is the key
钥匙是什么颜色的?
— Brown.
棕色的。
英语中有许多名词可加's表示所属关系,这种形式称为名词所有格。's词尾的构成如下:
单数名词直接加's。
若是以-s结尾的复数名词,仅加'。
若是不以-s结尾的复数名词,应加's。
注意:人名的所有格通常是加's。
e.g. I can't see the girl's phone number.
