1. pack up things 打包东西(教材P12 1a)
pack up 打包;收拾
既可作及物动词短语,也可作不及物动词短语。若其宾语为代词,代词应放在pack与up之间。
Pack them up and send them to poor children. 将它们打包,送给贫困的孩子。
pack up 打包 pack sth into sth 把某物装进……
Please pack up the gifts carefully before sending them.
在寄礼物前,请小心地把它们打包好。
She packed something important into a bag and left.
她把一些重要的东西装进包里就走了。
【拓】pack还可作名词,常见用法有:
(1)小盒;小包
She bought a pack of biscuits for the trip. 她买了一包饼干路上吃。
(2)包;包裹
He carried a heavy pack on his back. 他背着一个沉重的包。
a pack of 一包……
I bought nothing but a pack of cookies for my sister.
我只给妹妹买了一包曲奇饼。
hang up photos 挂照片 (教材P12 1a)
hang up 挂起;挂断电话 (hang-hung-hung)
hang up意为“挂起”,为“动词+副词”型短语,接宾语时宾语的位置如下:
hang +代词 + up
hang up +名词 = hang + 名词 + up
hang up还可意为“挂断电话”,其对应短语为hang on “别挂电话,等一下”。
I said goodbye and hung up.我说完再见就挂了电话。
hang作“绞死”讲时,其过去式和过去分词均为hanged
3. sort things into boxes 把东西分类装箱(教材P12 1b)
sort /s t/ v. 把……分类;整理 n. 种类
(1)[动词]把……分类;整理
sort out 整理
sort... from... 把……从……中挑选出来
sort... into... 把……分成……
(2)[可数名词]类;种类;类型, 相当于kind或type。

5. Can / Could you please do sth 你能做某事吗?
用于请求对方做某事,could 比can语气更委婉。
回答:Sure. /Sorry, I have to …
Could you please make the bed 请你铺好床好吗?
—Sure. 当然。
Can/Could you please+动词原形+其他?你能/可以······吗?
该句型用来表示请求,其否定形式为
“Can/Could you please +not+动词原形+其他?”。could在此处不表示过去,而是表示委婉的语气。
e.g. Could you please give me some advice 你能给我一些建议吗 (2024山西中考)
回答方式:肯定回答 (同意请求):
