The Hare and the Tortoise
　　Once upon a time,there was a hare.He laughed at the short legs and slow speed of the tortoise.Then the tortoise wanted to have a race with him.The hare agreed and he thought the tortoise couldn’t win.They started together,and soon the hare felt tired and fell asleep under a tree.The tortoise never stopped and kept walking.Finally,when the hare woke up and reached the end,he saw the tortoise had been there already,lying on the grass.The story taught us:Keep trying hard and you can succeed.

Reading is important for me.I love reading.I thought reading was meaningless when I was little.I didn’t like reading until my father bought me a book called One Hundred Thousand Whys at my primary school.I read it from the first page to the last page.It showed me that reading could be enjoyable.I really liked this book.From the book,I learned a lot about science and since then I’ve had the habit of reading.
This change has meant a lot to me.For one thing,reading has become a very important part of my life and for another,every book I read teaches me something new.So I’ll keep reading.
