第三课时(A. Letters and sounds)
教学目标 1.能听、说、读、写字母Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd;能听、说、读单词apple, bag, bed, Bob, cat, can, dog, sad。(语言能力) 2.通过认识及辨别英文字母,增强学生的跨文化意识。(文化意识) 3.掌握字母发音规律,建立英语拼读的思维能力。(思维品质) 4.能正确规范书写字母Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd;区分大小写,熟悉字母在单词中的发音规律。(学习能力)
教学重点 能够听、说、读、写字母Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd,并初步掌握3个辅音字母和1个元音字母在CVC单词里的发音。
教学难点 能够掌握这四个字母的笔顺、书写格式及其在相关例词中的发音。
教学过程 批注
Step 1 Warm up& Lead in 通过课前打招呼,复习英文指令及动作,将孩子们的注意力在最短的时间内集中到课堂中。 用歌曲营造愉快的学习氛围,同时也为新课的学习做铺垫,激发学生的学习兴趣,进而导入新课。
Warm up 1. Greetings 师生日常打招呼。 A: Good morning ... B: Good morning ... 2. Listen, say and do(Review) 通过教师说指令:Wave your hand ...,学生说对应的单词并做动作:Hello ...,复习上节课的内容。 3. Watch and enjoy 教师播放自然拼读歌的视频,请学生观看并欣赏,鼓励学生跟唱。 Lead in 教师提问:There are 26 letters in the English alphabet. What are they 学生回答。教师播放字母歌,请学生跟唱,随后用PPT揭示问题答案。 T:There are 26 letters in the English alphabet. What are they Ss: ... T: Now, please listen to ABC song and follow it. Then you can get the right answer. (PPT出示26个字母) T: It’s a happy song. Do you like it Ss: Yes! T: What’s the first letter of the letter song A, B, C or D (Use body language to explain “the first letter”.) Ss: A.
Step 2 Presentation&Practice 将字母教学和单词教学相结合并融入语音知识,引导学生自主探究字母在单词中的发音规则。 教师播放录音,学生听录音跟读。引导学生按照正确的语音、语调朗读字母和chant。 引导学生观察图片进行听前预测,降低听力任务的难度。再通过听音圈出单词的首字母,巩固新知。 加强对本节课四个字母的音形义的理解和记忆。
Presentation 1. Teach the letter A 教师先出示苹果的图片,让学生回答:What’s this 随着学生 回答出: It’s an apple. 并出示英文单词apple。再出示书包里装着苹果的图片。让学生回答:Where is the apple 随着学生回答出:It’s in the bag. 并出示英文单词bag。 T: apple, bag. Can you find the similarity of the two words (Students can answer in Chinese.) Ss: ... T: Yes! The pronunciation of the letter “a” in the two words is the same. It pronounces “/ /” . / /, / /, / /, apple. / /, / /, / /, bag. 先让学生认读和区分大小写字母Aa。并让学生说出大小写Aa 的笔顺。(可以根据书本中write and say来回答)对回答正确的学生及时给予表扬,并让学生进行书写练习。学生如回答错误,再找其他学生帮助说出正确答案,然后进行书写练习。 教师在黑板上画好的四线三格中教写大小写字母Aa。让学生 在练习本上抄写,然后给时间让学生多写几个以达到学会的目 的。教师在这一时间内要在学生中进行巡视,以便及时发现和纠正错误。 2. Teach the letter B 教师出示图片,让学生回答:Who’s this boy 出示英文单词 Bob,让学生尝试回答。教师继续让学生回答:Where is Bob 让学生尝试回答,He is in the bed. 并出示英文单词bed。让学生观察Bob与bed。让学生看单词找出所含相同字母Bb。 T: B, B, B! B is for Bob! B, B, B! B is for bed! Can you find the similarity of the two words (Students can answer in Chinese.) Ss: ... T: Yes! The pronunciation of the letter “b” in the two words is the same. It pronounces “/b/”. /b/, /b/, /b/, Bod. / b/, /b/, /b /, bed. 让学生认读和区分大小写字母Bb,并说出各自的笔顺。教学 步骤同字母Aa的第二、三步。 3. Teach the letter C 教师出示图片,让学生回答:What’s this 出示英文单词cat。 让学生尝试回答。教师继续让学生回答:What does the cat like 让学生尝试回答,He likes the can. 并出示英文单词can。让学生观察cat与can。让学生看单词找出所含相同字母Cc。 T: C, C, C! C is for cat! C, C, C! Teach the letter D 教师出示图片,让学生回答:Is it a cat No, it’s a dog. 出示 英文单词dog。教师继续让学生回答:Is the dog happy 让学生尝试回答:No, the dog is sad. 并出示英文单词sad。让学生观察dog与sad。让学生看单词找出所含相同字母Dd。 T: D, D, D! D is for dog! D, D, D! D is for sad! Can you find the similarity of the two words (Students can answer in Chinese.) Ss: ... T: Yes! The pronunciation of the letter “d” in the two words is the same. It pronounces “/d/”. /d/, /d/, /d/, dog. /d/, /d/, /d/, sad. (2)让学生认读和区分大小写字母Dd,并说出各自的笔顺。教学 步骤同字母Aa的第二、三步。 5. Listen, repeat and chant. (看课本,听录音跟读单词和字母。) Let students listen to the recording carefully and pay attention to the pronunciation and the intonation. Show the two chants of “Listen, repeat and chant” on the PPT. Play the recording again.(出示课件)  Then play the video and let students chant. Practice 1. Read and match PPT出示ABCD的大小字母,教师让学生读一读,连线。 2. Game 转盘游戏。教师操控课件动画,请学生快速读出指针所指字母或 单词。 3. Listen and circle the first sound. (1)Show the pictures of “Listen and circle”. (课件出示:教材P6 Listen and circle的图片) Let students observe the pictures and try to predict the first sound(2)Play the recording. (课件出示:教材P6 Listen and circle的音频) Let students listen and circle the letters. (3)Check the answers with students. (Answers: d; c; b; a) 4. Spell more Let students spell more words on the PPT. 5. Watch and learn 教师播放字母A-D的书写视频,请学生观看并学习。 6. Write and say. 教师请学生拿出练习本写一写,然后说一说。
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 通过字母操增强字母知识学习的趣味性。
Watch and do Play a video about the alphabet (A, B, C, D) exercises.(课件出示:字母操视频的A~D片段) Ask students to sing and do the actions after the video.
Step 4 Summary&Homework
1.小结:师生先共同口头总结,再用PPT完整呈现。 2.作业。 (1) 抄写字母Aa-Dd,一个四遍。 (2) 掌握四个字母在单词中的发音,记忆例词。 (3) 收集并拼读更多相关单词。
