I.语言点精讲
1. Grandpa and Grandma are visiting us this weekend! 爷爷奶奶 / 外公外婆这周末要来看我们!
本句是现在进行时表将来的陈述句,带有情感表达(兴奋、期待等)。
【现在进行时表将来的用法】
用于表示已经计划好或安排好的将来动作,通常带有明确的时间状语(如本句中的 this weekend)。常见动词:这类动词多与 “移动” 或 “安排” 相关,如 come, go, leave, arrive, visit, stay, meet 等。
例如:She is coming to the party tomorrow. 她明天会来参加派对。
They are leaving for Beijing next week. 他们下周出发去北京。
2. I can’t wait to show them our new house! 我等不及要给他们看我们的新房子了!
can’t wait to do sth.:迫不及待做某事,强调因期待而难以忍受等待的状态。
