一、教材分析 Analysis of teaching material
What:这是英语教材中第二单元“Reading Plus”板块的阅读内容,节选自改编自露西·蒙哥马利《绿山墙的安妮》的故事《Anne’s Decision》 。内容围绕安妮和玛丽拉的经历展开:安妮自幼被玛丽拉收养,在绿山墙农场生活。安妮原本要去外地上大学,可玛丽拉生病,医生告知玛丽拉若不放弃阅读、缝纫和农活会失明,玛丽拉因此想卖掉绿山墙农场,安妮得知后决定放弃上大学,留在农场教书并陪伴、帮助玛丽拉,邻居林德夫人起初不理解安妮的决定,而安妮和玛丽拉享受着黄昏时在家外的时光 。同时配有阅读任务,包括找出安妮的决定,以及讨论故事开头的问题、安妮的两个梦想、安妮做决定的原因、林德夫人认为安妮愚蠢的缘由、若自己是安妮会怎么做这些问题 。Why:- 语言知识:通过阅读故事,让学生接触丰富的英语词汇(如adopt, decision, blindness相关表达等 )、复杂句式(宾语从句、条件状语从句等,如“He said I must give up all reading...or I will go blind.” ),提升学生词汇量和语法理解运用能力 。- 阅读技能:培养学生阅读记叙文的能力,包括梳理情节(故事背景、冲突、解决办法 )、提取关键信息(安妮的决定、各方想法等 )、推理分析(如分析安妮决定背后的情感和原因 )等,提升阅读素养 。- 情感态度与价值观:借助安妮为家庭、为守护家放弃个人梦想的故事,引导学生感受亲情、责任、对家的珍视等情感,引发学生对家庭、梦想、抉择的思考,培养正确价值观。- 文化认知:让学生接触经典文学作品改编内容,了解西方文学中对“家”“亲情”等主题的呈现,拓宽文化视野。
How:- 阅读实施:首先让学生自主阅读故事,梳理情节,尝试完成“找出安妮的决定”的任务,锻炼独立阅读和信息提取能力;接着开展讨论活动,针对5个问题,组织学生小组或全班交流,在交流中深化对故事的理解,锻炼口语表达、思维分析能力,比如分析安妮的两个梦想时,引导学生挖掘文本中 “My dreams are the same: to be a good teacher, and to help you stay healthy.” 体现的情感与责任 。- 目标达成:在阅读和讨论过程中,学生自然积累词汇、熟悉句式,提升阅读技能;通过对故事中情感、抉择的探讨,理解并内化亲情、责任等价值观;同时接触文学作品,感知西方文化中对相关主题的诠释,最终达成语言知识、技能、情感态度、文化认知等多方面教学目标 。

In this class, I guided students to learn how to answer questions and get details through careful reading.Ninety percent of students can finish the reading tasks and catch up with the class. In addition, we learned about the story plot of Anne of Green Gables and what Anne’s decision is. At last, we explored the meaning of home.To my surprise and joy, each student loves their home and family members.
