What happened to your dog, Lingling 玲玲,你的狗怎么了
用法总结　happen是动词,意为“发生”。该词强调事件“偶然、意外发生”,是不及物动词,不能直接接宾语,常用搭配为sth. happens/happened to sb./sth.(某事发生在某人/某物身上)或“happen+地点/时间”。例如:

A car accident happened at the corner of the street yesterday.昨天街角发生了一场车祸。
知识拓展　take place也意为“发生”,但take place强调“有计划、有安排地发生”,而非偶然。take place同样是不及物动词,不用于被动语态,后面不直接接宾语,常用搭配为“take place+地点/时间”。例如:
