形容词和副词的比较级最高级语法讲解
一．定义
形容词:
用来描写或修饰名词或代词，表示人或事物的性质、 状态、特征、或属性，常用作定语，译为“......的”。
Eg.good,nice,beautiful,tall,strong......... He is a good student.
副词:
用来修饰动词、形容词、其他副词或全句，表示时间、地点、程度、方式等概念的词。
Eg:Well. carefully, beautifully ,differently ........ I live happily with my parents.
二．英语中大多数形容词和副词有三个比较等级：原级、比较级和最高级。
(一）、原级的用法
1）用于“A＋as＋原级＋as＋B”结构表示“A与B一样……”。
2）否定结构为：“A＋not as / so＋原级＋as＋B”，意为“A不如B……”。
（二）、比较级的用法
比较级表示“更......”,用于两者（人或事物）之间的比较，说明“前者比后者更.......”
注意：有些形容词，如 dead, empty, round, sure等受本身含义的限制，无比较级。

形容词、副词比较级的句型
A.用于两者间的比较，常用于“A+be+形容词比较级+than+B”或“A+实义动词+副词比较级+than+B”，表示“一个比另一个更……”。
B.用于选择疑问句Who/Which … + 比较级，…or …？结构。
C.“比较级+and+比较级”或“more and more +原级”表示“越来越……”。
D.“the+比较级, the+比较级”表示 “越……越……”。
E.“A+be+the+形容词比较级+of the two+.......”译为“甲是两者中较.........的”
Eg. Actions speak louder than words.行动比语言更响亮. (事实胜于雄辩)

She is thinner and thinner but she is more and more popular/famous.
The older,the wiser.姜还是老的辣。
注意：
通常修饰比较级的词有much，a lot，far，a little，a bit，even，still等，用以加强语气。
（三）、最高级的用法
最高级的用法用于三者或三者以上的人或事物的比较，意为：“最……”。
A.用于“the+形容词副词最高级+比较范围（of/in+范围）”结构表示“在……范围内 最……”。
B.用于“one of + the +形容词最高级+名词复数”表示“最……之一”。
C.用于选择疑问句“Who/Which … the+最高级，A, B or C？”结构。
D.用于“the+序数词+形容词副词最高级+比较范围（of/in+范围）”结构表示“在……范围内第几最……”。
Eg.Hukou Waterfall (瀑布) is the second the largest waterfall in China.
Of the three restaurants, Star Restaurant is the most popular. There are always a lot of people.
