41.
根据前文“Think about it, with what little vacation time we have these days, don’t you want your vacation to be the kind that you remember forever and talk about for years to come (想想看,我们这些天有多么少的假期,难道你不想让你的假期成为你永远记得的那种,并在未来的几年里谈论它吗?)”
42.
空处是段落小标题,根据本段中“Road trip games are always a great idea(公路旅行游戏总是一个好主意)”及“Creating your own soundtrack (原声带) is another key to a fun road trip.(创造你自己的原声带是另一个愉快的公路旅行的关键)”可知,本段主要讲述公路旅行中要有游戏和歌曲,A项“准备一些游戏和歌曲”符合语境,故选A项。
43.
空前一句“This road trip planning guide covers every kind of trip from camping to family to Spring Break to romantic.(这个公路旅行计划指南涵盖了从野营到家庭旅行到春游到浪漫的各种旅行)”是讲述旅行计划指南所涉及的内容,G项“还有一些关于打包行李箱和创建装箱单的提示”也是其内容,承接上文内容,符合语境,故选G项。
44.

How to Convince Your Parents to Give You More Freedom
As you grow up, it can happen that you want more time to go out with friends or more computer time, but your parents are concerned about you. In this case, how can you gain more freedom from your parents 32 Here are some tips to help you make it.
Follow your parents' rules and instructions without complaint. 33 You are also sup- posed to take care of your chores, such as cleaning your room or finishing your homework in time without being asked. It will remind them how responsibly you've been acting and show them your self-control.
34 Let them know what's on your mind and what's going on in your life. They'll be more likely to consider your requests if they understand your point of view. Ask them for advice regarding school, friends, or anything else you have going on. They will appreciate that you value their opinions.
Avoid dangerous behaviors and wrong companions. It will be much harder for your parents to give you more freedom if you're drinking, partying a lot, or hanging out with the wrong crowds. 35 Your parents can see how reliable they are. Always ask for permission before hanging out or staying out late. Your parents will feel relieved to know where you are and what you are doing.
Remain calm and accept their decision. Explain to them exactly why you think you can handle this particular freedom. If they say no, respect that choice. Becoming angry will only prove to them that you are not yet mature enough to handle additional freedom. Continue your good behavior instead. They might eventually recognize that you have grown up. 36
A.If possible, bring your friends home.
B.Naturally you will be given more freedom.
C.Always come home when you're supposed to.
D.Choose an appropriate time to discuss this topic.
E.You will need to show them that you are trustworthy.
F.Connect with your parents frequently in your daily life.
G.For instance, you can think about any possible consequence.

32.上文“In this case, how can you gain more freedom from your parents ”(在这种情况下,你怎样才能从父母那里获得更多的自由呢?) You will need to show them that you are trustworthy.(你需要向他们证明你是值得信赖的。)
33.上文“Follow your parents' rules and instructions without complaint.”(遵守父母的规定和指示,不要抱怨。) 下文“You are also sup- posed to take care of your chores, such as cleaning your room or finishing your homework in time without being asked.”(你也应该照顾你的家务,比如打扫你的房间或在没有被要求的情况下及时完成你的家庭作业。) Always come home when you're supposed to.(该回家的时候就回家。)

They will appreciate that you value their opinions.”(让他们知道你在想什么,你生活中发生了什么。 Connect with your parents frequently in your daily life.(在日常生活中经常与父母联系。)
35.上文“It will be much harder for your parents to give you more freedom if you're drinking, partying a lot, or hanging out with the wrong crowds.”(如果你酗酒,经常参加派对,或者和错误的人混在一起,你的父母就很难给你更多的自由。)下文“Your parents can see how reliable they are.”(你的父母可以看到他们有多可靠。) If possible, bring your friends home.(如果可能的话,带你的朋友回家。) 故选A项。
该段上文“Becoming angry will only prove to them that you are not yet mature enough to handle additional freedom. Continue your good behavior instead. They might eventually recognize that you have grown up.”(生气只会向他们证明你还不够成熟,无法获得更多的自由。 Naturally you will be given more freedom.(你自然会得到更多的自由。)

I come from Santiago, the capital of Chile. There are two separate areas in Santiago. There is an area for the very rich people and there is a part for the poor people. I come from the poor side of the city. The very rich people never cross over to the poor side of the city. But sometimes the poor people save their money and cross over to visit the beach on the rich side.
Dad drove buses. He would leave for work just after 4 am. His pay depended on the number of people who rode in his bus, so he would keep driving until he had made enough money for the day. Mum worked as a barber(理发师). She did not come home until late at night. My brother, sister and I spent a lot of time with my grandparents.
Dad had lived in Australia when he was younger. He told us about the large parks covered with grass. He told us about the beaches that were close to the cities which anyone could visit. Dad thought it would be better if we moved to Australia.
We could only take things that could fit in our suitcases(手提箱). I took clothes and a few special things that reminded(使......想起) me of Chile. I took photographs, a box covered with sand from the beaches of Chile and traditional toy.
I was very sad to leave my friends and family, especially my grandmother. My grandmoter had always looked after me. I didn’t want to leave her, but Dad said that she would come and visit us in Australia one day. When I left, I cut off some of my hair so that my grandmother would remember me.
Flying to Australia was a long journey. We stopped in Argentina and New Zealand before finally reaching Australia.

I took clothes and a few special things that reminded(使......想起) me of Chile. After years of debate, gray wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone National Park. Fourteen wolves were caught in Canada and moved to the park. By 2016, the Yellowstone wolf population had grown to more than 170.
Gray wolves once were seen here and there in the Yellowstone area and other parks of the United States, but they were gradually displaced by human development. By the 1920s, wolves had disappeared from the Yellowstone area. They went farther north into the deep forests of Canada, where there were fewer humans around. The disappearance of the wolves had many unexpected results. Deer and elk populations — major food sources (来源) for the wolf — grew rapidly. These animals ate large amounts of plants, which reduced plant diversity in the park. With the disappearance of gray wolves, coyote (草原狼) populations also grew quickly. The coyotes killed a great number of red foxes in the park, and completely drove away the park’s beavers (河狸).
As early as 1966, biologists asked the government to consider reintroducing wolves to Yellowstone Park. They hoped that wolves would be able to control the elk and coyote problems. Many farmers were against the plan because they feared that wolves would kill their farm animals or pets.
The government spent nearly 30 years coming up with a plan to reintroduce the wolves. The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service carefully monitors and manages the wolf packs in Yellowstone. Today, the debate continues over how well the gray wolf is fitting in at Yellowstone. Elk, deer, and coyote populations are down, while beavers and red foxes have made a comeback. The Yellowstone wolf project has been a valuable experiment to help biologists decide whether to reintroduce wolves to other parts of the country as well.
33.What is the text mainly about
A.Wildlife research in the United States. B.Plain diversity in the Yellowstone area.
C.The reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone Park.
D.A war between American farmers and gray wolves.
34.What does the underlined word “displaced’’ in paragraph 2 mean
A.Killed one by one. B.Separated from relatives.
C.Followed secretly. D.Forced to move out.
35.Which is an unexpected result of the disappearance of gray wolves
A.More people moved into the park. B.The number of deer increased fast.
C.Red foxes ate too many plants. D.Beavers in the park were all killed.
36.What is the author’s attitude towards the Yellowstone wolf project
A.Positive. B.Uncaring. C.Negative (反对). D.Doubtful.

文章首句“After years of debate, gray wolves were reintroduced (重新引进) to Yellowstone National Park.”(经过多年的争论,灰狼重新被引进黄石国家公园。)
根据划线词后“by human development”和“They went farther north into the deep forests of Canada, where there were fewer humans around.”(它们向北走到加拿大的森林深处,那里的人比较少)可知,由于人类的发展及活动,灰狼被迫离开,跑到了人烟稀少的加拿大森林。
根据第二段“The disappearance of the wolves had many unexpected results. Deer and elk populations — major food sources (来源) for the wolf — grew rapidly.”(狼的消失带来了许多意想不到的结果。
根据文章对重新引进灰狼的原因及过程的介绍,结合最后一段“The Yellowstone wolf project has been a valuable experiment to help biologists decide whether to reintroduce wolves to other parts of the country as well.”(黄石国家公园的狼项目是一个有价值的实验,它可以帮助生物学家决定是否将狼重新引入到美国的其他地区。) 故选A项。
