相当于“形容词性物主代词+名词”,其后不能再接名词

—They’re Tim’s. 是蒂姆的。
these指代近处的多个物品
those指代远处的多个物品
被询问的物品是可数名词复数,答语中用they指代。
名词所有格的构成规律
有生命的名词
1. 单数名词一般在词尾加“’s”
the girl’s skirt 女孩的半身裙
2. 以-s 结尾的复数名词,词尾加“’”
the girls’ books 女孩们的书
3. 不以-s 结尾的复数名词,词尾加“’s”
the children’s toys 孩子们的玩具
4. 表示共同拥有一件物品时,只在后者词尾加“’s”
Tom and Tim’s room 汤姆和蒂姆的房间
(两人共有同一间房)
5. 表示各自拥有相同的物品时,分别在各自词尾加“’s”
Tom’s and Tim’s rooms 汤姆的房间和蒂姆的房间
(两人各自拥有一间房)
无生命的名词
与of 构成短语

问句中的助动词要与主语在人称和数上保持一致,当主语为第三人称单数时,助动词要用does。

In fact (实际上), it means smart in the story.

主语+look(s) +形容词 (+其他).
