ask sb. for sth.:向某人要某物
例句:You can ask the teacher for help when you don’t understand English.(当你不懂英语时,可以向老师求助。)
It’s + adj. for sb. to do sth.:对某人来说做某事是…… 的
例句:It’s difficult for me to understand spoken English.(对我来说理解英语口语很难。)
The + 比较级 + 句子,the + 比较级 + 句子:越…… 就越……
例句:The more you read, the faster you’ll be.(你读得越多,速度就越快。);The more you eat, the fatter you will be.(你吃得越多,就会越胖。)
practice doing sth.:练习做某事
例句:You should practice reading aloud to improve your pronunciation.(你应该练习大声朗读来提高发音。)
finish doing sth.:完成做某事

例句:I wonder if the mooncakes are delicious.(我想知道月饼是否美味。);I don't know whether he will come home for the festival.(我不知道他是否会回家过节。)
感叹句
What + a/an + adj. + 可数名词单数 + (主谓)!
例句:What an interesting city it is!(多么有趣的一座城市啊!)
What + adj. + 不可数名词 + (主谓)!
例句:What fine weather it is!(多么好的天气啊!)
How + adj./adv. + (主谓)!
例句:How exciting the races were!(比赛多令人兴奋啊!);How delicious the food is in Hong Kong!(香港的食物多美味啊!)
be similar to:和…… 相似
例句:I wonder if it’s similar to the Water Festival of the Dai people in Yunnan Province.(我想知道它是否和云南省傣族的泼水节相似。)
wash away:洗刷,冲走
例句:People throw water at each other to wash away bad things.(人们互相泼水来冲走不好的东西。)

例句 结构解析
I think that mooncakes are delicious. that 引导陈述句宾语从句,无实际意义可省略
I wonder if/whether they’ll have zongzi again next year. if/whether 引导 “是否” 类宾语从句

suggest doing sth.:建议做某事
例句:I suggest Water City Restaurant in Water World. It serves delicious food.(我建议去水城的水城餐厅,那里有美味的食物。)
