2 The runner Su Bingtian gives an excellent answer to this question. The young man began his sporting life in 2006. At that time, no one from Asia had ever run the 100 m race in less than 10 seconds. Su trained hard and quickly became one of the fastest runners in Asia. In 2011, he ran the race in 10.16 seconds.

3 However, Su wasn't satisfied. To run in under 10 seconds, in 2014, he changed his starting leg. This was a very risky decision. He had to start from zero. At first, he was slower than before. Also, he was 25 years old.
At such an age, many runners choose to stop running. People doubted his decision. However, Su fought his fears and became a sporting hero.
4 In 2015, he clocked 9.99 seconds and made history. In 2021, he finished in 9.83 seconds at the Tokyo Olympics. He also became the first Chinese athlete to run in the Olympic 100 m final.
5 Su Bingtian has told youngsters, “Never let your age hold you back. Have a try and try harder. I believe you can write your own story.” Nothing is impossible as long as you try and stick to it. Everyone can be a Su-perman!

Thomas Edison was a great inventor. He faced a big challenge while improving the light bulb: finding the right material to make the light stay on. He tried many materials, but they either burnt out too fast or didn't work at all. To solve this problem, he and his team tested thousands of materials, like bamboo, cotton, and even hair. They worked hard in the lab and wrote down every result. Edison also made the inside environment of the bulb better so that the light could last longer. After many experiments, he found that bamboo worked best. His hard work and careful testing helped him solve the problem and succeed. He was really a hard - working, brave and creative man.
