Dear Emma,
The local book fair last weekend was amazing!I bought several extra-curricular books of different
categories.
I picked life stories because I have been deeply inspired by the great figures we learned about in
class,such as Yuan Longping and Tu Youyou.Their perseverance,creativity,and contributions to
society encourage me to explore more about great people's journeys.Reading such stories helps me reflect
on my own values and goals.
I also chose popular science books.Knowing about the latest discoveries feels both exciting and
necessary.Since I dream of working in a science-related field one day,these books can open my mind
and guide me towards my future path.
